Ladylike, sophisticated, and chic are three adjectives that can always be counted on to describe a Christian Dior collection, and the lineup that showed at Paris Fashion Week today did not disappoint. Less than a year after first debuting as the house’s designer, creative director Raf Simons continued the house’s legacy of ultra-feminine fashion for his fifth runway show. He debuted a series of black and white knits, intricate silhouettes, and evening-ready dresses adorned with sketches of birds, shoes, and faces to add extra appeal to flowing designs and ruffled waistlines. InStyle‘s Fashion Director Cindy Weber Cleary is in the City of Lights for Paris Fashion Week, and today she took in the new collection by Raf Simons for Christian Dior. The anticipation grew as she sent us this Instagram shot of the blue-infused set before the show, and then as the lights dimmed, she snapped this runway shot of a lust-worthy cape, calling the entire lineup a very “beautiful, very French” collection. J’adore! For more updates, straight from the runway, follow at @instylemagazine on Instagram.

The nuptials for Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux seem to be planned for the not-too-distant future, as revealed by People.com today, and we can’t wait to see what this fashion superstar chooses to wear for her big day. That’s why we’re making our predictions now, choosing pieces inspired by the actress’s go-to red carpet silhouettes, like high-low hemlines (like this Monique Lhuillier piece), full skirts (courtesy of Valentino‘s couture collection), and two-tone hues (a lovely look created by Dior Haute Couture). Click through the gallery to see eight wedding-worthy styles we’d love to see on Jennifer when she says “I do.”
If Charlize Theron‘s red carpet moment and opening dance number for the Oscars look like they went off without a hitch, it’s thanks to her behind-the-scenes magician, celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar. And magic it was: The stylist teamed up with The Coveteur for Oscars weekend to give a prepping play-by-play, from the fittings to the fixings. And she didn’t withhold any details—including the part about how the Dior dress custom designed for her dance number ripped while during rehearsals at 10:06 a.m., just hours before she had to take the stage. But it was all fixed before showtime! Click over to thecoveteur.com to get all the details on Leslie Fremar’s epic night of styling.

Oh, to be Jennifer Lawrence! She picked up a Best Actress Oscar Sunday night—while sitting two seats away from her handsome co-star Bradley Cooper—and she got to do it in a pale rose Dior Haute Couture princess dress. Not to mention she stars in the ultra-glamorous shoot for the brand’s Miss Dior handbags, a behind-the-scenes peek at which Dior just released. “Dior represents beauty and strength in women, and that’s how I feel when I’m wearing his clothes,” Lawrence said while posing with the brand’s pastel chain totes. “It just makes you feel so confident.” Our girl crush is firmly cemented.
What about you? Are you a bigger J-Law fan post-Oscars?

The 85th Academy Awards red carpet is filled with the brightest stars in the world, dressed in the world’s biggest designers. Jennifer Lawrence (nominated for Silver Linings Playbook) is in billowing Dior Haute Couture, Amy Adams (nominated for The Master) stuns in a layered Oscar de la Renta gown, Jessica Chastain (nominated for Zero Dark Thirty) is wearing gorgeous, glittering Armani Prive, and Kerry Washington is walking the red carpet in beaded red Miu Miu. “I love cinema so much, and this dress is a very [Marilyn Monroe] ‘Happy birthday Mr. President’ thing—old Hollywood glamour,” Chastain told red carpet host Ryan Secrest.
