Carolina Herrera’s Bella Swan Wedding Dress: Where to Find It!

Nov 29, 2011 @ 11:30 am

The Carolina Herrera-designed wedding dress Bella Swan wore in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 can be yours! And we’re talking the real thing. The designer confirmed that she will offer the gown at four of her boutiques—New York, Los Angeles Bal Harbour, and Dallas—starting this January. Just as Herrera took six months and four seamstresses to custom-create the crepe satin and French Chantilly lace gown just for Kristen Stewart, she will make the piece for interested customers entirely by hand. The estimated cost will be around $35,000—and if that’s too steep, Alfred Angelo offers an official replica for $799, available now. See more photos of the bridal look in the gallery.

Amy Smart’s Carolina Herrera Wedding Dress

Sep 28, 2011 @ 5:45 pm

Amy Smart married HGTV host Carter Oosterhouse in Traverse City, Michigan earlier this month, and we finally got a photo of her gorgeous gown! The bride chose a tiered lace Carolina Herrera design, and styled her hair in a simple chignon. “It’s so pretty, it worked very well with the theme of our wedding,” Smart told InStyle.com of her dress at an event this summer. “We tried to do our wedding as green as possible because we’re both environmentalists, so that’s the underlying theme.” The couple took five months to plan the event, which Smart said “felt so meant to be.” Click through to see the full-length look and more beautiful brides!

Runway Looks We Love: Carolina Herrera

Sep 12, 2011 @ 8:30 pm

Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2012 collection was one of easy elegance. Day looks offered a laid-back luxe style, with menswear-inspired crisp white blouses—the designer’s own signature piece—paired with slightly slouchy pants, and printed maxi dresses with an effortlessly breezy quality. Evening looks were all-out glamour, with art deco-inspired gowns covered in intricate beading and vibrant floor-length red carpet looks the color of fresh-cut grass. Sky-high wedges courtesy of Manolo Blahnik completed each look. Click through the gallery to see our favorite looks from the spring 2012 Carolina Herrera collection.
