Break out the pastels, it’s almost Easter weekend! With family reunions and brunch outings on the horizon (or break-the-fast parties for those who celebrate Passover), all the pending familial activity begs one question: What should you wear? Dainty pastels are on our radar, like this sky blue lace dress from Alice + Olivia ($396; aliceandolivia.com for stores) and soft aqua silk dress from Elie Tahari ($268; elietahari.com for stores). Another option is something a bit more bold, like this coral Yoana Baraschi dress ($498; yoanabaraschi.com for stores); a darker floral, like this silk one from Borne by Elise Berger ($260 at theoutnet.com), pays homage to the holiday’s more somber side while remaining feminine and pretty.

Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet is taking the girls-just-want-to-have approach of her line to handbags, launching her first collection on aliceandolivia.com this week. “Bags are so much a part of the A+O woman’s lifestyle,” Bendet told InStyle.com. “I was so focused on clothing and shoes. Already celebrities love the accessories, with Gwyneth Paltrow toting around the “Olivia” style (shown, bottom right). “I thought I had died and gone to heaven—she looked so incredibly chic!” Bendet said of seeing Paltrow in her design.
