World Series: Demi Lovato and Zooey Deschanel’s National Anthem Outfits

It’s the World Series, and some of our favorite ladies are stepping up to bat to show their support! New Girl star and She & Him lead singer Zooey Deschanel belted out the National Anthem before game four on Sunday night between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals in a Moschino strapless red dress, a neutral hue because red is in both teams’ colors. However, Demi Lovato clearly wanted to show who she’s rooting for with her outfit. The native Texan sang the anthem in a Texas jersey, blazer, leather skirt, and black booties for game five the following night. (Maybe it worked—Texas won that game and now leads the series 3-2.) Watch the video of Deschanel and Lovato singing at mlb.com—they really hit their notes out of the park! The sixth game plays out tonight at 8:05 EST on FOX.

Demi Lovato Teams Up with Disney for Clothing Line

Disney stars are the latest crop of celebrities turned fashionistas: Miley Cyrus did Wal-mart with fashion juggernaut Max Azria, and Selena Gomez is debuting her line Dream Out Loud for K-Mart this fall. Now Demi Lovato is joining in on the fun, debuting a collection under Disney’s D-Signed label sold exclusively at Target. The inspiration behind the collection? Lovato’s on-screen character, Sonny Munroe, from the Disney hit show Sonny with a Chance. The line is filled with graphic tees, fluttery skirts and comfy hoodies–similar to what Lovato’s charcter often rocks. Although the collection is designed for the tween set, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on the adorable clothes! Head to Target starting August 1st to purchase the goods.
