Vera Wang’s New Collection for David’s Bridal: The Complete Collection!

While Vera Wang may have produced two Kim Kardashian-inspired gowns for her latest White by Vera Wang for David’s Bridal collection, the entire lineup features many more styles—sans Kardashian flavor. The pieces range from a party-ready little white dress for $500 to an organza petal ballgown for $1,500. The designer also introduced pink hues this time around, like a rose-print dress and a blush tulle ballgown. Two new bridesmaid styles are also available, starting from $158, while new offerings for shoes and hair accessories start at $88. The entire collection will be available starting January 2012—preview it now in the gallery.

Vera Wang’s New Collection for David’s Bridal: See the Photos

Vera Wang just released a few images of her new White by Vera Wang for David’s Bridal spring 2012 collection! The latest lineup for her lower-price line includes two standout styles inspired by Kim Kardashian’s wedding looks, which Wang had designed for the reality star’s August nuptials. Both gowns feature Chantilly lace and elaborate trains and are priced at $1,500 (one shown here). The collection will be available starting February 2012—just in time for fresh Valentine’s Day engagements. See more pieces in the gallery.

Priscilla of Boston to Close Stores, Discontinue Labels

Sad news for brides: David’s Bridal Holdings Co. announced today that all Priscilla of Boston labels and 19 salons are closing by the end of 2011. The collections that are discontinued include Priscilla of Boston, Platinum by Priscilla of Boston, The Dress by Priscilla of Boston, Jewel by Priscilla of Boston, Melissa Sweet, Reverie by Melissa Sweet, and the Vineyard Collection. In an official statement, David’s Bridal told us:

“After nearly 65 years of serving America’s most beautiful brides, we have made the difficult decision to close Priscilla of Boston salons and the Priscilla of Boston portfolio of brands. This decision allows us to focus our resources on our sister division, David’s Bridal, to further accelerate David’s growth and strengthen our industry leadership.”

If you’ve already ordered your dress, all orders will be fulfilled “with the same care, love and diligence as we have over the last many years,” as salons remain open through December. Kim Kardashian’s Vera Wang Wedding Looks: Coming to David’s Bridal!

Two of Kim Kardashian‘s Vera Wang wedding looks are coming to David’s Bridal next February! The ballgown Kim wore for the ceremony and the mermaid gown she wore for her first dance will be part of Wang’s line for the retailer, and each look-alike will be priced under $1,600. The designer told E! News that while the copies won’t look exactly like Kim’s bridal styles, they “will certainly capture that sense of old-fashioned romance” from the originals. Vera Wang just launched her White by Vera Wang for David’s Bridal fall 2011 collection, and this time around she added bridesmaids’ dresses and shoes! “I am excited to provide an array of romantic, classic, and whimsical fashion for the entire bridal party,” the designer said in a statement. Wang’s under-$200 bridesmaids options include strapless satin and one-shoulder gowns. For footwear, her pumps, ballerina flats and booties range in price from $58 to $98. Standout bridal styles—never priced over $1,400—include hand-cut organza dresses topped off with horsehair sashes inspired by Wang’s main line. Jessica Simpson Designs Prom Dresses Now

Just a few months ago, experts predicted Jessica Simpson‘s clothing and accessories empire to earn $1 billion by the end of 2011, and turns out prom is part of her big plan! The singer recently released a line of special occasion and prom dresses, and the lineup includes strapless black gowns, purple tiered dresses (shown), and patterned one-shoulder looks. Vera Wang for David’s Bridal: See the Complete Spring Collection

It’s a dream made in wedding collaboration heaven—Vera Wang, who designed wedding dresses for Chelsea Clinton, Ivanka Trump and Alicia Keys, teamed up with David’s Bridal to create a collection of gowns, veils and accessories named White by Vera Wang. The first spring lineup goes on sale this Friday at David’s Bridal stores, with more styles (including bridesmaid dresses and shoes!) set to debut this fall. “It’s really about creating something that’s true to a woman’s style,” Wang told InStyle about how she wants a bride to feel in one of her gowns. “A wedding is a joyous event, and the bride’s dress should always reflect that.” The dresses will be available in sizes 0-14 and range from $600 to $1,400.
