David Beckham confirmed the news that wife Victoria is expecting their first daughter! The pair, who married in 1999, already has three boys: 11-year-old Brooklyn, eight-year-old Romeo, and five-year-old Cruz. “Obviously, we’re very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I’m going to say it: It’s a little girl,” the soccer star told ESPN. “We’re still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon,” he added. “Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well.” The baby girl is due in July, three months after the couple plans to attend the Royal Wedding. Congrats to the happy couple!

David Beckham attended last night’s Teen Choice Awards because he was nominated for Choice Male Athlete. But on the red carpet, his wife Victoria was the hot topic. “She looks amazing dressed up,” the soccer star told InStyle, “but dressed down with flip-flops and jeans, I love her. She looks great both ways.” Becks said his fashion advice stops there, and went on to dispel the rumors that Posh had tapped him to help design her new men’s collection. “No, she doesn’t need me,” he explained. Then he continued to shower his wife of 11 years with compliments. “She is an amazing mother. That is one of the most attractive things about Victoria.” And it turns out that the world-famous couple isn’t above spending a little quality time in front of the television. Glee, David reports, is a favorite. “Victoria loves the show,” he said.

Hot celebrity designer Victoria Beckham, whose dresses have been worn by everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Jennifer Hudson, is launching a menswear line and has reportedly tapped her stylish husband to design it. David Beckham, who’s known as much for his flair for fashion as he is for his soccer skills, will be in charge of a full range of men’s couture, including tailored suits, sharp day wear and evening looks. “Victoria has been trying to persuade him to do it for a while and he’s finally succumbed. She’s reassured him that he has an eye for fashion,” a source told the Daily Star. The line is set to launch in the spring of 2011.
