Dancing With the Stars Winner Announced!

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff took home the Mirrorball Trophy on season 13 finale of Dancing With the Stars—just like InStyle.com readers predicted! The pair wowed audiences first with a repeat performance of their “Jump, Jive ‘an Wail” number in swing era suspenders and pants. Then last night, J.R. pulled ahead with his Instant Samba to Ricky Martin’s “Shake Your Bon Bon.” Congrats to the pair! Season 14 of the show will return in March. We’ll be watching!

The first round of the Dancing With The Stars season finale aired last night, and the judges results are in! After each of the three remaining couples danced to two routines, Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke pulled away with the lead, ending the night with 57 points as opposed to the 54-point tie between couples J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff and Ricki Lake and Derek Hough. And now that you’ve seen them shake their groove things, tell us, who do you think will bring home the Mirrorball Trophy? Cheryl Burke Models for Macy’s Now!

Cheryl Burke is a model for Macy’s now! The retailer announced that it brought on the Dancing With the Stars pro as the face of Ideology, a new activewear line that will launch in February. “The clothes are very me,” Burke told WWD of the collection, which includes jackets, yoga pants, tops, shorts, sweatshirts and undergarments priced from $8 to $58. “They’re just like what I normally wear for rehearsals or to work out in.” Burke is expected to wear pieces from the new Ideology line for the show’s 14th season next fall, so shoppers can see the clothes in action.

Dancing With the Stars: See the Perfect Score Dance!

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff scored straight 10s on Dancing With the Stars last night—twice! The pair received the first perfect score of the season (30 points in total) for their waltz to Jackie DeShannon’s What the World Needs Now is Love. Then in the second round, in which contestants were given 20 minutes to prepare an impromptu jive, Iraq war veteran/motivational speaker Martinez and pro Smirfnoff finished with another 30 points—and a standing ovation. Watch their impressive performance in the video, above.
