Maybe we can’t read her poker face, but we will be able to rock her perfume in the not too distant future. Indeed, summer speculation has proven true, and Lady Gaga will create a fragrance line with Coty Inc. to launch in the spring of 2012. CEO of Coty Inc, Bernd Beetz, said, “We welcome Lady Gaga to the Coty family and look forward to breaking boundaries that will allow people to experience beauty in a different and unique way.” We can’t wait to see how the perfume bottles turn out!  Perhaps we can expect a sheer catsuit? Or a feathered headpiece? When it comes to Gaga, one never knows…

Lady Gaga to Launch a Fragrance Line

As if landing eight Moon Men wasn’t enough of a coup, Lady Gaga has signed a fragrance contract with perfume powerhouse Coty. Stephan Mormoris, the senior vice president of global marketing for Coty Beauty, told WWD that the first offering from this “fascinating cultural force” is expected to launch in the spring of 2012. While the Haus of Gaga gets to sniffing, the rest of us will be speculating on the scent of this sure-to-be epic new fragrance. Perhaps there will be a top note of latex with an undertone of raw meat? Maybe a subtle bouquet of Earl Grey and peroxide? Whatever the blend, the scent is sure to be as mind-blowing, and as popular, as the Lady herself.
