New York-based designer Jane Mayle is back! After shuttering her eponymous line of clothing and accessories in 2008 (a moment of silence, please), the Mayle’s back with a limited-edition collection of five handbags for Club Monaco. Priced between $245 and $695, the Coco (bottom) is a narrow, fold-over leather and suede cross-body bag with brass hardware, while the JM bag (top) and tote (middle) are both made of suede lambskin with leather trim and removable straps. The smaller bags are relatively affordable, and we think they’ll make great additions to our growing fall wardrobes. “The collaboration with Jane Mayle was kismet,” Caroline Belhumeur, Club Monaco’s Senior Vice President of Women’s Apparel and Accessories, said in a statement. “When the opportunity presented itself, we naturally all jumped on board. Jane’s aesthetic and energy clearly sits well with our brand – a downtown vibe, but chic and feminine.” And we’ll be jumping on board as well!
