“You’re the smartest and the dumbest person I’ve ever known,” Saul poignantly tells Carrie in the preview for tonight’s heart-pounding season finale of Golden Globe-nominated drama, Homeland. (The series earned five nods this week, including those for lead actors Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, and supporting actor Mandy Patinkin.) Tonight’s episode, aptly title “The Choice,” will have viewers on the edge of their seats as Saul forces Carrie to face reality and choose between Brody and the CIA (finally!). Though she may not have to choose at all if Quinn decides to go through with his assassination orders on Brody. Either way, things have gone too far to ever go back and we can’t wait to see what shakes down. Tune in tonight at 10 p.m. EST onShowtimeand have your Xanax at the ready!

Brittany Snow’s Short Hair: Inspired by Claire Danes and Reese Witherspoon’s ’90s Looks

Nov 30, 2012 @ 1:19 pm

When Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow chopped her hair into a chic bob just a couple months ago, it wasn’t a result of the 2012 trend of stars shearing their locksshe made the decision based on a moment of inspiration much earlier in her life. “I have this obsession with 1998 Claire Danes and Reese Witherspoon,” Snow told InStyle.com at the HFPA and InStyle Miss Golden Globe party in Los Angeles last night. “It was when they had their hair really short. I wanted to wear something that was sleek and different for me. I like this!” And what does she love most about her new ‘do? “I feel way better with it short for some reason,” Snow said. “I feel more myself—I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to mess around. It’s way easier and more carefree. This took me ten minutes! I’m always a fan of that.” Quick, simple, and chic—what’s not to love?

What Will Pregnant Claire Danes Wear to the 2012 Emmys?

Sep 22, 2012 @ 5:30 pm

Homeland nominee Claire Danes is looking in the maternity section for her Emmys night dress! “It’s getting to the point where I’m looking a little knocked up,” the actress joked on LIVE! With Kelly and Michael. So what to expect when Claire Danes is expecting? Thus far, she has favored not-so-basic embellished black dresses for her latest promotional appearances (including a lace-embroidered Lela Rose, right). But, to aid her in her quest, we’ve rounded up some Emmys night maternity inspiration—from Heidi Klum’s impressive double take to looks from Jennifer Garner and Christina Aguilera. Just consider it a baby shower gift, Claire!
