Inside the Party: Marc Jacobs and Emmy Rossum Host Brian Bowen Smith’s Book Launch

At the release party for his book Projects at Hollywood’s legendary Chateau Marmont, photographer extraordinaire Brian Bowen Smith found himself on the opposite side of the camera, with stars (and subjects!) Miley Cyrus, Cindy Crawford, and Cat Deeley celebrating Smith’s latest accomplishment. After guests previewed the photographer’s most-iconic works on the old-school ViewMaster 3D toys stationed at each table, hosts Emmy Rossum and Marc Jacobs took to the stage to introduce the man of the hour. “I couldn’t believe in my whole life that I’d be in this moment,” Smith said in a speech. “It’s overwhelming, and if I could hug everyone, I would!” The sentiment was shared by Rossum. “The Chateau Marmont is kind of quintessential old Hollywood, and his pictures, a lot of them are black and white and they’re very classic,” she told us. “I think it kind of all fits.” We agree! MTV announced tonight at the Video Music Awards that 20-year-old Victoria’s Secret angel Karlie Kloss and 24-year-old Chanel model Joan Smalls are the hosts for the revived series House of Style! Crawford was 22 when she was the original host of the hit show in 1989. We can’t wait to watch these two lead the pack! Cindy Crawford Stars in Duran Duran’s New Music Video!

If you’re a fan of the 80s, then you will love Duran Duran’s newly-released music video, Girl Panic! The clip stars all of your favorite supers, including Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon, who has been married to Duran Duran’s front man Simon Le Bon for nearly 26 years. “We all grew up together,” Cindy Crawford told InStyle.com of working with her closest friends at the Los Angeles premiere of The Descendants this week. “It really was a reunion in the true sense of the word.” So, how have things evolved over time for this mom of two and beauty entrepreneur? “When you become a parent things are not all about you anymore, but Naomi is still not the most punctual person,” she says with a laugh. Good to know some things never change.

Supermodels Reunite for Duran Duran’s New Music Video!

It’s a supermodel reunion! Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, Naomi Campbell and Yasmin Le Bon got together last week to film a music video for Duran Duran‘s new single, Girl Panic, the Independent reports. Yasmin, who is married to the band’s Simon Le Bon, brought the ladies to London, where Dolce & Gabbana were on-hand to style them in the label’s fall collection. The clip and single will be released later this year, but while you wait, check out another classic models-and-musicians pairing—George Michael’s “Freedom” video! The 1990 clip also features supermodel stunners Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.

Eva Mendes and Rihanna Raise Money for Leukemia, Spain Welcomes RPattz, and More!

Eva Mendes and Rihanna partied for a cause when they attended the annual DKMS Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, which raised $2.5 million for the fight against leukemia. Mendes chose a floaty white chiffon frock with a black sash by Prabal Gurung, while Rihanna went for a lacy gown with a plunging neckline by Louis Vuitton. Before the event, Rihanna tweeted, “Pullin up to DKMS Gala! Lights, Cameras…..ACTION!!!!! #Werk.” The singer was honored with an award recognizing her for work in raising awareness about the disease. Meanwhile, in Washington D.C., Michelle Obama shared a laugh with comedian Seth Meyers at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and over in Barcelona, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson got cozy at the Spanish premiere of Water for Elephants.
