Italian fashion house Marni celebrated the launch its first fragrance in New York, and some of the luxe label’s fans—including Alexa Chung and Christina Ricci—came to the brand’s Meatpacking District store to toast to its release. “It was important for us was to create a fragrance we could wear,” Carolina Castiglioni, daughter of Marni creative director Consuelo Castiglioni, told InStyle.com of the perfume, which mixes woodsy musk undertones with notes of fragrant rose to create a feminine-meets-masculine scent. “We started from what we liked. We had to select from hundred of raw materials for the note and follow our instinct.” And now you can shop it! Pick up the Marni scent, as well as body lotion, body cream, travel versions, for $50 to $155 at saksfifthavenue.com.

Christina Ricci is teaming up with Make Up For Ever to give your cosmetic bag a makeover! The star designed a limited-edition makeup bag made of animal-friendly faux leather and decked out in studs to kick off the brand’s Make Up Remix Tour. “My inspiration for the bag was hard rock meets couture, and I added a red lip motif to the design since I love wearing red lipstick,” Ricci said. “Plus, I thought it would add a fun pop of color!” We agree! The Make Up Remix Tour will travel to nine cities across the country, allowing fans to book an appointment with one of the brand’s makeup artists for a 30-minute consultation. And while Ricci won’t be road-tripping across the country with Make Up For Ever’s artists, you can pick up her bag starting February 1st on the tour’s first stop in Los Angeles and on sephora.com for a wallet-friendly $30.

A new episode of The Good Wife premiered last night, in which Julianna Margulies’s character Alicia Florrick defended a lewd comedienne, played by guest star Christina Ricci. There were dozens of wardrobe changes in this episode, and costume designer Daniel Lawson worked overtime to represent the opposite attitudes of the characters with their clothing. “I wanted Alicia to look really put together and professional to contrast the character Christina played, who was inappropriately casual at times,” Lawson told InStyle.com. “It was a big script and a big episode, and I wanted Alicia to feel uber-put together and very ensemble-like the whole time.” To do so, he used Altuzarra, Les Copains, Christian Dior, and more.
