Celebrities kicked off New York Fashion Week last night by strutting their stuff forThe Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection 10th anniversary fashion show. Rebecca Romijn, Christie Brinkley, Chaka Khan and Minka Kelly were just a few of the famous faces who took turns down the runway in ruby designer dresses, helping to raise awareness about women’s heart disease. “This is so nerve-racking,” Kelly told InStyle.com before show, which was hosted by Diet Coke, Bobbi Brown, and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas. “I’m just focusing on not falling down. I’m going to think of Tyra Banks!” And she didn’t stumble one bit—rather, she flaunted her sequin-covered Diane Von Furstenberg gown fabulously, an accomplishment front-rowers (and Ty’s America’s Next Top Model besties) Jay Manuel and J. Supermodel Christie Brinkley is launching a skin-care line! “I have taken great time and care to bring together the beauty secrets that I personally believe have helped me maintain my youthful appearance throughout the decades,” the gorgeous 57-year-old said in a statement. The collection of products will be 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free. Christie Brinkley is headed to Broadway! The model and mother of three will make her debut on the Great White Way as vixen Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago next month. (Renee Zellweger played the same part in the 2002 movie version of the musical.) And while we haven’t heard her singing “Funny Honey” or “We Both Reached for the Gun” or “Nowadays” yet, she definitely pulls off the look of Roxie Hart—just take a look at this photo of Brinkley in character on set (see another photo after the jump). Supermodel Christie Brinkley has taken her 20-plus years of experience in fashion and channeled it into a new line of costume jewelry for QVC, the Christie Brinkley Jewelry Collection. “The line is a celebration of things I love,” Brinkley said, and includes bracelets, cocktail rings and earrings. Our picks? The sky blue topaz and moonstone bracelet ($393) and earrings ($85), which were inspired by her Hamptons home.
