If you can’t wait for the Jason Wu for Target capsule collection, you’re not the only one! Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum, Jaime King and Chloe Moretz were among the celebrities who toasted to the collaboration at the opening of a Jason Wu for Target pop-up store in New York last night, all wearing pieces from the lineup. “I get so excited when I see women wear my clothes,” Wu told us on the red carpet. “I’m such a nerd, I go up to them and I tell them that they look really great even though they don’t know who I am. I just think that for somebody to purchase something that I designed, at any price, is a true compliment and true testament to what I do.” We agree! Chloe Moretz Got Her Very First Chanel Bags at 14

When we caught up with Chloe Grace Moretz in October, the 14-year-old actress told us her mother didn’t allow her to buy designer clothes. That is still the case, she confirmed to InStyle.com this month, only with a few exceptions. “No, [I can’t buy designer clothes], but Chanel gave me my first two Chanel purses ever!” the Hugo star told us, shown here wearing a Chanel LBD. “One is the more modern version of the classic one. It’s got the accordion bottom and red interior. It’s beautiful! Then my other one is a little leather clutch. It’s so pretty and so classic. I love them.” So why is she so excited over her new luxury goods? “I love Chanel because it’s so classic and iconic. You can say Chanel to anyone in the world in any different language, and they’ll know what it is.” What a lucky teen!

Chloe Moretz Not Allowed to Buy Designer Clothes, But Loves to Wear Them

While Chloe Moretz showed up to Spike TV’s Scream Awards in a black lace and floral dress by Dolce & Gabbana, her off-duty wardrobe doesn’t necessarily reflect her red carpet high-fashion choices. “My closet isn’t ridiculously amazing because my mom doesn’t allow me to buy Dolce and designers,” the 14-year-old told InStyle.com. So what’s the secret to her chic looks? “I have an amazing stylist, and my mom and my brother,” she explained. “My stylist pulls the best stuff, and then it’s all of us just saying, ‘Yes, no, yes, no.’” However, the actress does have a way of getting around her Mom-ordered non-designer shopping habits. “Some of the press outfits I get to keep,” she said. “And I still shop at the mall.
