Swarovski Introduces 22 Ways to Say Black

On September 20th, Swarovski will be auctioning off 22 LBDs designed by some of world’s most influential fashion designers. The crystal-making line challenged the designers to each create a one-of-a-kind LBD using Swarovski gems as embellishments. The designers tapped for the project include Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, Fendi and Giorgio Armani Prive (each of whose creations are shown from left to right). In addition to these dazzling dresses, Swarovski is releasing a book, 22 Ways to Say Black (available on Amazon.com) with blown-out images of the collection. The proceeds from each dress and the book will benefit cancer-related charities including the American Cancer Society and La Ligue Nationale Contre le Cancer in France.
