The Fragrance Foundation Awards took place in New York City last night, and it made for one of the best-smelling awards shows we’ve ever attended. Hosted by Dana Carvey, the event — known in the industry as the FiFis — celebrated the year’s biggest accomplishments in fragrance, and stars like Jessica Szohr (in KaufmanFranco), Taylor Swift (in Pucci), Dita Von Teese (in Maria Lucia Hohan), and Connie Britton (in Zac Posen) lined the red carpet to lend their support to their favorite whiffs. The night was especially notable for Swift, who was honored as the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year. She also took the opportunity to officially launch her new scent Taylor by Taylor Swift, which she wore on the red carpet (Editor’s Note: She smelled really good). “My first fragrance, Wonderstruck, was all about enchantment and represented a fantasy,” she told us on the red carpet. “Taylor by Taylor Swift represents me in my everyday life.” Scroll down to see the full list of this year’s Fragrance Foundation Award winners. The 2013 FiFi Awards are tonight! Highly regarded as the biggest event for the fragrance industry, tonight’s ceremony in New York City will honor the biggest accomplishments in perfume. Taylor Swift will be honored as the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year, and A-listers like Kerry Washington and Connie Britton are scheduled to attend. In April, we asked you to vote on which celebrity fragrance you think should take home an award, and after tallying up the poll results and reading through the comments, the results are in! Justin Bieber‘s Girlfriend scent won by a landslide with over 36,000 votes, while Nicki Minaj‘s inaugural scent Pink Friday came in second with 4,000 votes. Minaj and Bieber are going head-to-head for the Fragrance of the Year in the Women’s Popular category, with Halle Berry‘s Closer and Christina Aguilera‘s Red Sin scents also nominated for the title. The stars played peekaboo at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night! Celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Emmy Rossum, and Taylor Swift all chose to wear designs that incorporated sheer elements (and all by the same designer, Zuhair Murad). Lopez’s gold skirt was see-through, Rossum’s side panels were covered in polka dots only, and Swift’s royal blue mini featured a crackle pattern that showed off her shoulders. But no one tried to do sheer quite like Once Upon a Time star Jennifer Morrison, who walked the carpet in a completely transparent gown (save for her skivvies) by Kristian Aadnevik.
