With only two days left to go for the Cannes Film Festival, the glamorous red carpet moments show no signs of slowing down. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Stacy Keibler showed off Armani looks at the brand’s new store opening in the French Riviera, while Heidi Klum (in Versace) and Nicole Kidman (in Valentino Couture) held it down on the red carpet. The statuesque Stacy Keibler flaunted her curves in Rebecca Minkoff‘s Elvi Eyelet Dress in Los Angeles. The contrasting navy and white hues create an ultra-slimming silhouette in the front, and the cutout detail adds a sexy edge in the back. Perfect for spring! Shop it for $468 at shopbop.com.

In addition to the couture offerings at last night’s Academy Awards, celebrities were lining the carpet in gorgeous, classic manicures. The intricate nail art trend was swapped for tried-and-true elegant shades, and the lacquers worn by Stacy Keibler, Kerry Washington, and Adele were among our favorites. Perhaps as a nod to the night’s festivities, Keibler accented her Naeem Khan gown with Deborah Lippmann’s Glamorous Life ($17; deborahlippmann.com), while Washington and Adele chose timeless nude hues. Washington, who plays Olivia Pope on Scandal, wears a buff-toned lacquer for the show, but appropriately decided to add a touch of shimmer before hitting the red carpet. The 85th Academy Awards red carpet spotlighted a few key fashion trends: pastels, sparkling metallics, and, perhaps most prominently, the statement back. We first noticed it on Anne Hathaway (middle), who stunned in a tie-backed pink satin column by Prada (and a dangling Tiffany & Co. necklace) when she picked up her statue for Best Supporting Actress. Stacy Keibler (right) also rocked a sheer back on her Naeem Khan gown, and Renée Zellweger dared to bare in a Carolina Herrera gown with a plunging back and contrasting bow ties. Sexy is back—literally!

Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet at last night’s Academy Awards in a gorgeous Valentino gown from the designer’s spring 2013 Haute Couture runway. The star’s strapless, full-skirted red dress echoed the advice of celebrity stylist Cher Coulter: “Red always looks good on the red carpet—especially Valentino red,” said Coulter. “The color’s a no-brainer if you want to go classic and you want to stand out.” Aniston finished off her look with Salvatore Ferragamo heels and her signature layered locks. And she isn’t the only one who took a dress from runway to red carpet: George Clooney’s main squeeze Stacy Keibler looked striking in a studded column gown by Naeem Khan, which debuted at New York Fashion Week less than two weeks ago. When we asked Khan if he had any Oscars dresses in the works, he wasn’t so sure if he’d see one of his designs on the red carpet. “There are so many of them! Those kinds of things aren’t so easy, so we’ll see what happens!”

For the 14th year in a row, the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globes after-party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was the go-to spot for Hollywood’s hottest. InStyle’s newest cover girl Jessica Alba (in Louis Vuitton) posed with Managing Editor Ariel Foxman, while Stacy Keibler (in Armani Prive) cozied up to boyfriend George Clooney, and Thandie Newton (in Giles Deacon) chatted with Lucy Liu (in Carolina Herrera). “For me, it’s a super party,” said Newton, who had attended the awards with husband Ol Parker, the screenplay writer for Golden Globe-nominate The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. “I’m so proud of him. ”I’m here to support him. And just to enjoy his glory.” The stars assembled under an stunning chandelier hung with thousands of gold metal strands, sipping cocktails and dining on delicacies like roast turkey and braised short rib. After learning last month that Stacy Keibler started working with celebrity-loved stylist Brad Goreski, the pair showed off their palpable chemistry on the American Music Awards red carpet when he interviewed her about the look he created for her. “I’m a big disco ball!” she said of her highly-reflective Collette Dinnigan mini, which she paired with Neil Lane jewels and her Jimmy Choo pumps—a look he had put together. “You look so gorgeous!” he told his client, who was on hand to present the award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year. Before double-cheek kissing and bidding adieu, he encouraged her one last time: “Shimmy shake and razzle dazzle!” Now that’s a cute fashion couple!

This past weekend saw the start of Halloween parties across the country, which meant celebrities pulled out their best costumes for the spooky soirees. Kim Kardashian (following her own advice) dressed up as a platinum blonde mermaid for the Midori party she hosted in New York (with Kanye West as her sea captain), Jessica Alba and her troupe transformed into the cast of Pixar’s The Incredibles in Hollywood, and Stacy Keibler became a masked maven in Las Vegas.
