The summer finale of Pretty Little Liars aired last night, and the big shocker is that—SPOILER ALERT!—Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) boyfriend Toby is the latest member of Team A! (Did any of you see that one coming?) Before we could even register our shock, we remembered what we discovered when we sat down with Liar Shay Mitchell at the launch of her American Eagle campaign in Times Square: The girl who plays Emily Fields shares nothing in common style-wise with her sporty character. ”Any time I can get away with wearing sequins, believe me, I’ll have it on,” she told InStyle.com. “[Emily and I] are a little different in that way. I’m incorporating a little more of my style into her wardrobe—people are starting to see that this season. She’s wearing printed denim and more jewelry.” But then, in her own life, she added, “I’m sort of like, ‘Oh, you know what? Let’s just wear this T-shirt and these sneakers.’ We’re switching styles.” Life imitates art!
