High above the traffic speeding down the West Side Highway, Naomi Watts (in Chloe), Katie Holmes (in Chloe), Connie Britton (in Karen Zambos), and Anna Kendrick gathered at The High Line in Chelsea for Coach’s Third Annual Summer Party. The public park was transformed into a carnival for the Coach takeover, featuring games, fortune tellers, jugglers, and magicians. And it was all for a good cause: Coach celebrated its announcement to give $5 million to support construction of the High Line and help insure its future. “I’m excited to be here tonight because I think it’s great when a company like Coach does an event like this that helps the city,” Holmes, a resident New Yorker, told reporters before she made her way through the park-turned-carnival. Watts agreed: “I’d do anything to support it, to celebrate it.” Learn more about the park by heading to the highline.org.

London designer Stella McCartney crossed the pond (and brought the rainy English weather with her) to debut her resort 2014 collection in New York City, and more than a few of her celebrity fans stepped out to fete her designs. Cameron Diaz and Jessica Seinfeld arrived to the tented garden space in lower Manhattan, wearing McCartney’s looks, as did Naomi Watts and Amy Poehler who were spotted sipping on the night’s signature rosemary sprig martinis infused with Beluga Vodka. Madonna stopped by towards the end of the evening to lend her support to her longtime friend. Click through the gallery to see more photos.

Found It! Naomi Watts’ Raspberry Lipstick by Chanel

May 21, 2013 @ 1:30 pm

With a très chic atmosphere like the Cannes film festival, Naomi Watts‘ makeup artist Georgie Eisdell didn’t have to look far for inspiration. “I wanted to keep her makeup fresh with a little French influence,” she said on the star’s makeup from the For the Love of Cinema premiere. “Her lips were the main focus of this look.” Eisdell drew upon the red florals in Watts’ Dolce & Gabbana number and chose Chanel‘s Rouge Allure Velvet Matte Lip Color in La Sensuelle, a crimson-berry hybrid. Pick up a tube for $34 at chanel.com.

What Naomi Watts Hears from Her Stylist Before She Steps Onto the Red Carpet

Apr 10, 2013 @ 7:00 am

Naomi Watts consistently delivers amazing red carpet looks, like when she stepped onto the Oscars carpet in this glittering Giorgio Armani design. How does she master such perfect looks? Thanks to the styling help and advice from longtime stylist, Jeanann Williams. “Before Naomi jumps out of a car, we say, ‘Shoulders back!’” Williams told InStyle.com at The Hollywood Reporter & Jimmy Choo’s Top Stylists Luncheon. “There were a couple times where we were like, ‘Ooh! The shoulders!’ When it’s a cold night, you tend to [hunch].” She certainly paid attention for the Oscars, and for the rest of her major carpet moments.

See how Naomi has rocked the red carpet, shoulders and all!

Hollywood’s most influential stylists and their devoted celebrity clients gathered yesterday at Soho House in West Hollywood to attend The Hollywood Reporter & Jimmy Choo’s Top Stylist luncheon. The fete celebrated the industry’s twenty-five most powerful stylists, as named by The Hollywood Reporter in their second annual Top Stylists issue. And stars like Zoe Saldana (in Carven), Nina Dobrev (in Max Mara), and Naomi Watts (in Erdem) were all on-hand to support the women who help them turn heads—both on and off the red carpet. “I just know whatever she puts together for me, I’ll feel like the prettiest girl in the room,” Saldana said of her long-time stylist, Petra Flannery (second left). “I wish every girl felt that way.” Actress Naomi Watts also gushed about her stylist, Jeanann Williams (far right). “The great thing about working together is that we know each other so well. We spend a lot of time together. She has the kind of style and fashion sense that I’ve spied on for years.” We want to share them, too!

This Week’s Parties: Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck, and Naomi Watts at John Varvatos’s 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit

It was an Oscar couples reunion at John Varvatos’s 10th Annual Benefit this weekend, where Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Garner were all on-hand to support Stuart House, a treatment center for children who have suffered sexual abuse. Garner began her involvement with the cause eight years ago, and now she and her husband are co-chairs of the benefit. “She told me about what she saw at Stuart House and what the children had to go through after being subjected to these kinds of assaults, and how important it was to have people there who were caring and thoughtful and going to do this the right way,” explained Affleck at the benefit, held at Varvatos’ boutique in West Hollywood. The event featured a live auction to support the House, as well as a performance by Aerosmith. “You just see the outpouring of people that want to be part of such an important cause and to me that’s the most important thing that we’ve done over the last ten years,” host Varvatos added. “To really raise the awareness and raise money to support helping these young kids.” To find out how you can help Stuart House, visit 911rape.org.
