Dior presented its 2014 resort collection in Monaco’s capitol of Monte Carlo over the weekend, and the stars attending the Cannes Film Festival in neighboring France briefly left the scene to take in the design house’s fashion show. Clad in head-to-toe Dior, Jessica Biel, Marion Cotillard, and Zhang Ziyi traveled the 50 minutes to Monaco to join Princess Charlene of Monaco to watch the Dior Cruise Collection make its way down the runway. Afterward, the stars stayed in Monaco to celebrate the sophisticated and feminine collection at a cocktail reception thrown by Princess Charlene in honor of her good friend and Dior designer, Raf Simons. Prabal Gurung Loves to Dress Celebrities (And He’s Dressed Tons This Awards Season)

After striking out on his own four years ago, designer Prabal Gurung has already seen his pieces land on countless celebrities—an amazing feat!—and he knows how special it is each time stars like (left to right) Olga Kurylenko, Marion Cotillard, January Jones, and Jennifer Lawrence step onto the red carpet wearing his clothes. “These actresses have a bazillion options, and you’re competing with big corporate houses, too,” Gurung told InStyle.com at the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation’s 2013 Winners’ Brunch in New York, where the designer was on hand to toast to the next generation of grant winners (he won in 2010). “So when [they choose mine], I’m always like, ‘Did this just happen?’ I don’t think it will ever change for me. I’m always really grateful. When they choose mine, it’s really gratifying and humbling.” And he expresses his gratitude every time he sees his piece on a star: “Before I go to bed, I always say, ‘Thank you so much,’ to the person.” And with his collections gaining even more in popularity, expect to see his celebrity fan base keep growing (and growing and growing!).

InStyle’s 5 Best Dressed of the 2013 SAG Awards

The 2013 SAG Awards red carpet proved to be another fashion show for Hollywood’s leading ladies!  So, which dresses topped our list of favorites? Five looks that represented five of the biggest trends of the season. Check them all out here!

1. ANNE HATHAWAY: SHEER
Anne Hathaway represented the sheer trend seen on the spring runways wearing a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture embroidered corset and tulle dress from the spring Haute Couture collection. She accessorized with Kwiat jewels.

2. JESSICA CHASTAIN: RED
Redheads can wear red! The Best Actress nominee wore a fiery Alexander McQueen gown, a look that got only more va-va-voom with the $1.25 million Harry Winston necklace accessorizing it.

3. JULIANNE MOORE: BLACK & WHITE
Black and white were the biggest “colors” of the night, from solid black (like Michelle Dockery‘s vintage Chado Ralph Rucci), solid white (like Naomi Watts‘s Marchesa), to a black-white mix (like Julianne Moore’s stunning Chanel look), all inspired by the biggest trend that emerged from the spring runways.

4. MARION COTILLARD: TUXEDO/BOW DETAIL
We loved the look of Marion Cotillard’s Dior Haute Couture dress. The face of the label represented its ladylike motif in an ivory white silk faille bustier and a dark green skirt in leather satin. But the most standout detail was the bow around the waist, wrapping her just right.

5. KERRY WASHINGTON: EMBELLISHMENT
Now that’s a silver lining! Washington’s Rodarte gown featured just the right amount of bling embellishment, with silver jewels lining the bodice.
