Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg: Final Season Is ‘As Evil As Ever’

Gossip Girl will premiere its final season this October, and the cast is currently shooting The Last Scenes Ever in New York as we write this. That said, Michelle Trachtenberg—a.k.a. the super-evil Georgina—was able to sneak away to enjoy Jennifer Klein’s Annual Day of Indulgence in Los Angeles recently, where she told us all about what to expect. “It’s hard to film right now because it’s 110 degrees in New York,” she told InStyle.com. “And we’re like dripping sweat, wearing seven-inch platforms and gowns. But we’re such a close-knit group and we all still have a great time.” And what schemes is always-plotting Georgina putting together this time? “She’s as evil as ever,” Trachtenberg said of her alter ego. “Georgina and Dan have teamed up! She’s just making sure for the final season that she does everything she can to bring down the main characters of the Upper East Side.” Salacious! New episodes return Monday, October 8th at 9/8c, and until then you can get your XOXO fix with three hours worth of reruns every Wednesday on the Style Network.

Inside the 14th Annual Day of Indulgence Party: See the Photos!

Day of IndulgenceAmy Graves/Wireimage (3)

Pop up shops, ice cream pops, and pops of summer colors took over at producer Jennifer Klein’s 14th Annual Day of Indulgence party on Sunday, where guests including Christina Hendricks, Leslie Mann, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Hailee Steinfeld enjoyed a girls-only day of pampering, shopping, and sun. “It’s like a girls bonding day,” Hendricks told InStyle.com. “I like that it’s just women. And I like that you run into a lot of friends and just relax. And, of course, the shopping!” Yes, the shopping—guests left Klein’s Los Angeles home weighted down with bags of goodies, including clothes from Intermix, jewelry by Lizzie Scheck, a Clarisonic cleaning system, an Amazon Kindle, Givenchy mascara, Sperry Topsider shoes, Skullcandy aviators, and more. See more photos from inside the party—and find out what the stars hauled home—in the gallery.

Why Michelle Trachtenberg Got Blue Hair

May 24, 2012 @ 2:45 pm

Michelle Trachtenberg’s hair now has bright blue ends, and it’s all because of her new role as a psycho killer in the thriller The Scribbler, out next year. “It wasn’t even something they asked me to do, I just said ‘I think half my head should be blue,’” she told us at the Coach-hosted Childrens Defense Fund benefit party in Santa Monica last night. While producers denied a full head of blue hair, they compromised with just the tips, and Trachtenberg sought celebrity colorist Tracy Cunningham to dip-dye her strands. “We did it and it’s been so much fun,” she said. Of course, it took some getting used to. “It is super subtle though during the day it is a bright,” she said. “But after the first washing, I thought I killed one of the characters from Avatar!” Tell us: Do you like her look?
