All fashion month long, we were treated to some eye candy even before a runway show started. Celebrities turned out to show their support and admiration at the hottest runway shows and we kept a tab on their fashion-focused travels—from New York to Paris. There were some front row regulars like Olivia Palermo, and even Kanye West, but some newbies hit the scene, too. Fashion favorite and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o and The Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie sat side-by-side yesterday at the Miu Miu show in Paris—one of the last shows of fashion month. And we’d say, it went out with a bang.
Awards season may have just ended, but we’re already counting down for the 24th Annual MTV Movie Awards! The nominees have just been announced and it’s no surprise that The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Wolf of Wall Street, and American Hustle are leading with the most nominations for that coveted golden bucket of popcorn.
Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, and Margot Robbie are just a few nominees up for a trophy, while Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams are up against Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley, and others for one of the most anticipated awards of the evening — Best Kiss! As for the leading men, Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto, Zac Efron, Leonardo DiCaprio are also nominated for several awards. To see the full list of nominees, visit mtv.com and be sure to tune in on Sunday, April 13th at 9/8c for the live ceremony hosted by late night talk show host, Conan O’Brien.

Lupita Nyong’o Jet-Sets to Paris For Miu Miu’s #PFW Fall/Winter 2014 Collection, And Proves She’s a Prada CheerleaderMar 5, 2014 @ 3:51 pm
How does an Oscar-winning actress celebrate her big win just days after the biggest night of her life? If you’re anything like Lupita Nyong’o, you hop on a plane to Paris for the Miu Miu fashion show, of course! The fashionable actress—who is the face of the brand’s spring/summer 2014 ad campaigns along with Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, and Bella Heathcote—made her Paris Fashion Week debut by sitting front row during Miu Miu’s fall/winter 2014 collection and in great company no less!
The 12 Years a Slave actress nabbed a seat next to Rihanna, her fellow Miu Miu girls, and even took a few selfies with them and The Wolf of Wall Street‘s Margot Robbie. How cute! Among the other attendees for Miuccia Prada’s show, Léa Seydoux and fellow Oscar-winner (and our hair crush) Jared Leto himself stopped by as well.
But as much as she is a pro at glamming it up on the red carpet, she’s equally as skilled at looking flawless in more casual ensembles. Right before Nyong’o graced the front row in her full burgundy and blush pink Miu Miu ensemble, the starlet posed in this adorable Instagram photo with her stylist Micaela Erlanger—the force behind all of Nyong’o's colorful frocks from award season that made Roy G. Biv proud—wearing matching “Miuccia 49″ T-shirts and even proclaimed themselves as ”Prada Cheerleaders!” And they sure are, just on Oscars night Nyong’o accepted her golden statute in her “Nairobi” blue Prada gown and quickly changed into a seafoam green Miu Miu frock for the Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party. Now that’s the chicest cheerleader we’ve ever seen.

Our favorite stars dressed to impress at the 86th Academy Awards, and kept the celebration going well into the night by attending high-profile after parties. Several leading ladies took this as an opportunity to swap out their stunning red carpet gowns (which they often spend months finding) for a whole new look, switching out their floor-sweeping dresses for more party-appropriate, sexier, looks post-show.
While not everyone opted for a gown-change, many of the night’s nominees including Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Lawrence, and Amy Adams showed off a second look later in the evening. Other stars—like Kristen Bell, Lady Gaga, Anne Hathaway, and Kate Hudson—shed their gowns fresh looks. ”The first dress I tried on for tonight was glamorous and beautiful, but it wasn’t comfortable,” Hudson tells InStyle. ”This is a long night and of course you want to look good, but more than anything you want it to feel good when you wear it. I wore this dress because I just felt so good and comfortable in it.” Whether these stars changed it up for comfort or style, or simply because they couldn’t decide on one designer piece, they all look stunning in their second ensembles of the night.

Now that the 86th Academy Awards have come to a close, the celebrations can finally begin! Last night’s winners—including Cate Blanchett (Best Actress), Lupita Nyong’o (Best Supporting Actress), Matthew McConaughey (Best Actor) Jared Leto (Best Supporting Actor)—hit the party circuit with their golden statutes in tow, along with fellow nominees and attendees joining in on the fun everywhere from the Governors Ball, Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, to the Elton John’s 22nd annual AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party (which helped raise $5.1 million for the fight agains HIV/AIDs).
“I’m going to be doing all things Oscar‑related, this is my first time here,” says a speechless Nyong’o to reporters after the ceremony. “I feel like Willie Wonka in the Chocolate Factory.” What better way to describe Oscar night! While the glamorous gowns lining the venue were the main focus at last night’s Oscars red carpet, the elegant beauty looks complementing each ensemble certainly didn’t go unnoticed. To mirror the princess feeling of her Prada gown, first-time Oscar winner and belle of the ball Lupita Nyong’o added a diamond-studded Fred Leighton headband to her cute pixie, which she complemented with a pop-of-color lip. Charlize Theron, on the other hand, played up her eyes, opting for a Twiggy-inspired white liner and lush lashes, while Best Actress winner Cate Blanchett paired her soft retro curls with a luminous complexion. But they aren’t the only stars who won big in the beauty department — after watching the entire ceremony and taking notes on our favorites, we rounded up the prettiest makeup and most-elegant hairstyles of the night, along with tips from the pros who created each look. It’s no secret that Lupita Nyong’o was the darling of last night’s Academy Awards — from her gorgeous Prada gown to her touching acceptance speech for her Best Supporting Actress Oscar, just about everything the star did began trending in 140 characters or less and only moments after her Fred Leighton headband gained its own Twitter account, the star also managed to get the #LupitasLipBalm hashtag buzzing on everyone’s news feeds.
As Ellen DeGeneres was taking up funds for an impromptu pizza party in the middle of the ceremony — using Pharrell’s now-infamous hat as the collection plate, of course — Nyong’o contributed her tube of Clarins HydraQuench Lip Balm. “Lupita’s lip balm! That’s worth something,” the host joked as she pocketed the product. The nourishing formula has long been a favorite of ours, especially in the chilly winter months, as the hydrating shea butter and rice oil extract each boast serious benefits for your pout. We’re not sure if DeGeneres plans to keep Lupita’s lip balm for herself or list it on eBay — we’re sure someone would pay top-dollar as the product sold out at Clarins locations overnight, but luckily, it’s still in stock online. Head over to clarinsusa.com to pick up your own tube for $24 while you still can!
No question about it: Jared Leto stole the show at last night’s Oscars, and we weren’t the only one’s who thought so! According to Facebook, the first-time Oscar winner was the most buzzed about nominee from last night’s show. From his dapper white tux to his enviable ombre locks, the Dallas Buyers Club star gave us plenty to swoon over, but it was his touching and eloquent acceptance speech that really stole our hearts. One of our favorite moments came when he spoke about his mom: “She encouraged her kids to be creative and work hard and do something special. I just want to say ‘I love you mom, thank you for teaching me to dream.’”
But Leto wasn’t the only one who had social media abuzz. Fellow Dallas Buyers Club nominee and winner Matthew McConaughey had people gabbing, as did Leonardo DiCaprio, who left the Academy Awards empty handed once again. As for the ladies, Best Supporting Actress winner Lupita Nyong’o caused a stir for her heartfelt acceptance speech and her standout “Nairobi” blue gown. And it wouldn’t be an awards show without a Jennifer Lawrence moment — her red carpet fall earned her plenty of chatter on the social media sphere. So, what else did we love from last night’s show?
