Gilt Man celebrated the paperback release of Andy Cohen’s book Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture with a soiree in Manhattan last night. Attendees included fellow pro-talker Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos. The guests also celebrated Cohen’s partnership with Gilt Man, which includes a just-opened store filled with dapper items personally curated by Andy. UNICEF Snowflake Ball: Selena Gomez and More Raise $2.5 Million

The spirit of giving was in full effect at last night’s 8th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City, where stars like Katy Perry (in Naeem Khan), Uma Thurman (in Versace), Kate Mara (in Jason Wu), Selena Gomez (in Dolce & Gabbana), Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, and more convened at Cipriani 42nd Street for a night that raised $2.5 million for the United Nations Children’s Fund organization. “So proud to be a part of @unicefusa,” Tweeted Gomez, who is a UNICEF ambassador along with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelson of Red Rooster, one of the culinary stars who created the delicious menu along with Landmarc’s Marc Murphy and Gramercy Tavern’s Michael Anthony. “Wow, this crazy!” Girls star Allison Williams (in Naeem Khan) said of the evening after catching up with designer-to-the-stars Prabal Gurung. And she shared that electric feeling with many in the room, as the gala featured a live auction—a backstage experience to Gomez’s concert earned $40,000!—as well as special performances by The Wynton Marsalis Quintet and Tony Bennett, who serenaded the star-studded crowd with his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight.” Bravo!

Kelly Ripa Debuts Live! With Kelly and Michael

Kelly Ripa officially announced her new co-host today: Michael Strahan! The record-breaking former Giant filled the chair where Regis Philbin once sat for the first time this morning. “I adore you, and I am so happy to be here and be a part of this,” he told Ripa at the top of their hour. “You know how they say it’s a dream come true? I truly can’t say that because I didn’t even know I could dream this.“ In return, his blonde co-host said that it was a “great pleasure” to have him on-set. So now we can stop guessing! Kelly Ripa to Announce Co-Host September 4th

After rotating through 59 co-hosts, Kelly Ripa is slated to announce her permanent Live! sidekick on September 4th! “They’ve all been spectacular,” Ripa told InStyle.com at Super Saturday recently. “We haven’t had a dud yet.” But, she can’t wait to find the right one: “It’s likeThe Bachelor. Eventually you want to see the girl settle down. It’s fun now, and people are really enjoying it, but I think people want to see me get ‘married.’” Some of the frontrunners include Seth Meyers, Josh Groban, and Anderson Cooper. Kelly Ripa’s Show Heads to Hawaii: Who’s Your Favorite Co-Host?

Kelly Ripa and the Live! crew are jetting to Hawaii for the week! And while we all wish we were going with her, one lucky man actually is: Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim (fitting!). This isn’t the first time they’ve paired up; Kim actually helped her host another series of episodes in Hawaii earlier this year. So we want to know: Has Ripa gotten any closer to picking a full-time co-host? “They’ve all been spectacular,” Ripa told us at Super Saturday. “I think we’ve had 57 men and women in that chair, and we haven’t had a dud yet.” But, she added, “It’s like The Bachelor. Eventually you want to see the girl settle down.
