When the “E.T” singer stepped out for the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers “I Create Music” expo in Los Angeles, she chose a striking silk dress covered in cell phones, a design from New York brand Suno’s spring 2013 collection. The silk dress printed with blue and yellow cellular devices circa the ’90s—a fun find for any tech fiend—is available for $650 at net-a-porter.com. We’re sure her “Call Me Maybe”-singing pal Carly Rae Jepsen is a fan!

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival kicked off this weekend, and the stars all headed to Indio, California to take in the music, the sights, and the parties. Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson helped H&M host a giant kick-off bash, aptly called H&M Loves Music; Katy Perry (in Dolce & Gabbana) was surrounded by McDonald’s at the launch of its new Premium McWrap at the Bootsy Bellows House; and The Carrie Diaries star AnnaSophia Robb (in Lacoste) and Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio celebrated the fourth annual Lacoste L!ve pool party, complete with giant lego crocodile. Coach threw a party last night in Santa Monica, and for a great cause! Hosts J.J. Abrams, Katie McGrath, and Bryan Burk took the reigns for the 3rd Annual Coach Evening of Cocktails and Shopping, which raised money for the Children’s Defense Fund, a national organization that works to encourage the United States to improve their policies and programs for children. Jennifer Morrison, January Jones, Katy Perry (in Thakoon), Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Chris Pine were just a few of the stars who mingled, sipped beverages, and shopped Coach’s latest collection at Abrams’ Bad Robot Production Studios, where the fete was held. Katy Perry’s Stylist Still Loves Her Grammys Dress: “We Took That Memo with a Grain of Salt”

It’s been almost two months since Katy Perry “missed” the memo and dared to bare at the Grammys in that Gucci dress, and her stylist, Johnny Wujek, is still in love with what a moment it was. “I loved Katy’s Grammy look so much. I loved how it wowed everybody. Everybody who walked by commented [on it] or was staring,” Wujek told InStyle.com, refering to the gaping keyhole that helped his pop star client reveal her ample assets. “That day was so fun. We took that memo with a grain of salt.” Still, the jade column did help her cover up, too, with its full length and long sleeves—a nod to her more demure sartorial choices as of late. “We go through phases. It’s an evolution. We’ve done the young, playful, candy, cupcake thing and now she’s growing into a woman. We’re shaking it up.” We can’t wait to see what’s up next!

Exclusive Details about Katy Perry’s New Ruby Ring on Her Left Ring Finger: From the Jeweler!

Katy Perry got a brand new ring for Valentine’s Day! The singer was spotted leaving dinner with John Mayer wearing a ruby ring on her very special left ring finger, and Santa Barbara-based jeweler Daniel Gibbings, who designed the ring, gave us all the exclusive details on the stunner. The one-of-a-kind piece boasts a high-dome, heart-shaped 12-carat ruby set in 20-karat gold, and the side stones are tear-drop tsavorites (see the photo at right for a zoomed-in, close-up version). The designer revealed that Mayer purchased the bauble himself. While we don’t know for sure whether or not the ruby ring is an engagement ring, we do love the way she’s been coordinating it to romantic red outfits!
