Ladies of the ’90s, Jewel is back! The singer just released her Greatest Hits album this morning filled with fresh takes on her classic hits—including a sweet duet of “Foolish Games” with Kelly Clarkson. “This was my first take really getting to hang out with [Kelly], and she is a hoot. She is a Texas girl and really down to earth, and really funny. No filter on that girl!” Jewel said in a video interview leading up to the album’s release. Kelly Clarkson Records Duet with Jewel For Her Greatest Hits Album

Dec 11, 2012 @ 2:55 pm

Jewel is slated to release a Greatest Hits album in February, and there’s at least one very special guest making an appearance on the disc! Kelly Clarkson hit the studio with the folk-pop crooner (made famous in the late nineties for hit songs like “Who Will Save Your Soul” and “You Were Meant For Me”) to re-record her hit “Foolish Games” as a duet. “Kelly was amazing—she was a hoot to have in the studio,” Jewel told Billboard of their collaboration. “She had done “Foolish Games” in several talent shows prior to American Idol, so she really knew it. I’m such a fan of her voice and love what she added to the song.” When it originally came out in 1997, the song had a spot on the Batman & Robin soundtrack, as well as a 65-week run in the top 15 of the Billboard charts. We look forward to hearing the duo take it on together!
