The Fragrance Foundation Awards took place in New York City last night, and it made for one of the best-smelling awards shows we’ve ever attended. Hosted by Dana Carvey, the event — known in the industry as the FiFis — celebrated the year’s biggest accomplishments in fragrance, and stars like Jessica Szohr (in KaufmanFranco), Taylor Swift (in Pucci), Dita Von Teese (in Maria Lucia Hohan), and Connie Britton (in Zac Posen) lined the red carpet to lend their support to their favorite whiffs. The night was especially notable for Swift, who was honored as the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year. She also took the opportunity to officially launch her new scent Taylor by Taylor Swift, which she wore on the red carpet (Editor’s Note: She smelled really good). “My first fragrance, Wonderstruck, was all about enchantment and represented a fantasy,” she told us on the red carpet. “Taylor by Taylor Swift represents me in my everyday life.” Scroll down to see the full list of this year’s Fragrance Foundation Award winners. Just minutes away from the Dolby Theatre, where the 85th Academy Awards were held, there was another celebration going on—InStyle‘s annual Oscar viewing party! The guest list at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood included Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his fiance, Justin Mikita (both in Hugo Boss), Kat Graham (in Dolce & Gabbana), Jessica Szohr (in Reformation), and more, snacking on steak sandwiches and sipping Beluga Noble Vodka mixed drinks to watch all the action, both fashion and film. One very big fan of Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence also swung by, Hunger Games co-star Alexander Ludwig. “I was blown away, but I totally expected it. She, of all people, deserved it,” said Ludwig (in Armani), who stood up and cheered as soon as he heard her name. “She’s one of the most classy and incredible, exceptional people I’ve ever met. I’m so happy for her. The second I heard her name, I texted her!” And he also had a winning moment himself, predicting enough right answers for InStyle‘s Academy Awards ballot contest to take home the grand prize, a luxury stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen to Leave Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl will return next season minus two cast members—Jessica Szohr, who plays Vanessa Abrams, and Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey. The news may not come as a shock to fans of the series, since Vanessa recently revealed that she’s leaving town to study abroad, and Jenny hasn’t appeared in many of season four’s episodes. Still, both characters may be making guest appearances in season five, TV Line reports, and Serena‘s cousin Charlie (played by Kaylee DeFer) has been promoted to series regular status, ensuring there will no shortage of drama on the Upper East Side.
