Billboard Music Awards 2013 Fashion Photos: What Everyone Wore!

The stars played peekaboo at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night! Celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Emmy Rossum, and Taylor Swift all chose to wear designs that incorporated sheer elements (and all by the same designer, Zuhair Murad). Lopez’s gold skirt was see-through, Rossum’s side panels were covered in polka dots only, and Swift’s royal blue mini featured a crackle pattern that showed off her shoulders. But no one tried to do sheer quite like Once Upon a Time star Jennifer Morrison, who walked the carpet in a completely transparent gown (save for her skivvies) by Kristian Aadnevik. The Ultimate Lesson You Can Learn from Jennifer Morrison’s Emma Swan on Once Upon a Time

Before Jennifer Morrison’s character Emma Swan broke the Evil Queen’s curse and saved the town of Storybrooke on ABC’s Once Upon a Time—a new episode airs tonight on ABC at 7 EST—she was just a lost orphan living alone. Her rough beginning inspired the producers to name her character after the swan from The Ugly Duckling, and, like every fairytale story we’ve heard since childhood, there are lessons to be learned from this fairytale-inspired character. ”The point of that story was that the swan was always a swan, and was picked on for being different, not actually being ugly,” Morrison told InStyle.com at the 30th Annual Paleyfest in Los Angeles. “To me, that is Emma’s journey, constantly discovering who she should be.” This notion inspired the star to create the hashtag #TheUglyDucklings on Twitter and encourage her Once fan base to embrace the life lesson every time they Tweet at her. “[Emma is] constantly struggling in those moments and being reminded that she’s a swan,” Morrison added. “That’s her fairytale. That is the message to other people. Hopefully people connect with it.”

Tuned In: Once Upon a Time Returns Tonight

Jan 6, 2013 @ 4:00 pm

Our favorite fairytale characters are back! After a month-long hiatus, Once Upon a Time returns with an all-new episode tonight. Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) have finally returned from Fairytale Land and are back in Storybrooke after defeating Cora (Barbara Hershey) and the swarthy Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). Celebration ensues with their return, but it is short lived when Jiminy Cricket (Raphael Sbarge) is found dead. All fingers are pointed at The Evil Queen, Regina (Lana Parrilla), but is she the culprit? Emma’s not so convinced. Watch Once Upon a Time tonight at 8/7c on ABC to find out!

Sneak Peek: Once Upon A Time’s Winter Finale

Dec 2, 2012 @ 4:00 pm
Once Upon a TimeCourtesy of ABC

Just in time for tonight’s winter finale, InStyle.com caught up with Once Upon A Time star Jennifer Morrison for a preview of what’s to come on the fairytale-inspired show. The big question: Will Morrison’s character Emma ever make it back to Storybrooke? “We clearly are working toward that,” Morrison said, hinting that some unwanted stowaways may be coming with her. “Cora wants to get to her daughter who has outsmarted her in the past, and Hook wants to take revenge on Rumplestiltskin so there’s definitely villains in Fairytale Land that seem like they’re going to impact Storybrooke.” As for Emma, expect more magic when the show returns for the second half of the season! “She’s full fairytale blood. I know that sounds crazy, but she’s truly a fairytale character,” Morrison said. “We’re going to see moments where she realizes she’s capable of things that she never imagined.” Tune in tonight for the winter finale at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
