Surprise! Heidi Klum to Launch Another Fragrance, in Stores Tomorrow

Heidi Klum has bottled her fun personality to create a lively new scent, named Surprise, available just in time for spring (and Valentine’s Day gifting, wink, wink, hint, hint). “Surprise will excite your senses,” the star said. “It’s vibrant, playful, and sexy!” Surprise is the fourth scent in Klum’s fragrance catalog—the model previously created Shine, her inaugural perfume, followed by two limited-edition versions of the same scent. Her latest spritzer is housed in a ribbon-inspired flacon with a chic color palette, and blends colorful notes like magnolia, rose petals, and pink pepper. Find Surprise at drugstores nationwide starting tomorrow for $28.

Project Runway Season 11 Premieres Tonight!

The eleventh season of Project Runway premieres tonight! This time around, judges Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, and Nina Garcia welcome newcomer Zac Posen, and together they throw a big twist at the contestants: Every challenge will be a team challenge. The 16 designers will be divided into two groups, and at the end of the challenge, one member of the losing team will be out. “We don’t play around here on Project Runway, we get right to it!” Klum says in the preview (watch it above!). The winning designer will win $100,000 and the opportunity to design an exclusive collection that will be sold at Lord & Taylor. Golden Globes 2013 Hair Trend: Side-Swept Curls

Retro-inspired beauty was a popular choice at the Golden Globe Awards last night, with Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, InStyle cover girl Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Rachel Weisz channeling their inner Veronica Lake with side-swept ringlets. We love how each star’s curls are defined without being stiff, not to mention the throwback moment to Old Hollywood glamour. “Megan wanted to have a moment on the red carpet, showing off a more confident, sophisticated, and softer side,” Fox’s hairstylist Renato Campora told InStyle.com. Recreate their looks at home by adding mousse to damp hair, then blow dry using a round brush until smooth. Campora used a clipless curling iron by Sultra ($130; sephora.com) to form Fox’s waves, then misted on the OSiS Strong Hold Hairspray ($19; ulta.com for locations) to lock in the shape. If you choose to comb through your style, make sure to do so with a vented hairbrush, as a paddle brush may cause your curls to fall.

If you’re hitting up a holiday party after work, try out this style for a seamless transition: One part Farrah Fawcett, one part haute couture, Heidi Klum’s bouncy waves are glamorous, and the carefree texture makes the style wearable even in the daytime. ”This look is new for Heidi because it is so soft and sexy,” said celebrity hairstylist Oribe, who created the style. Oribe blow-dried Klum’s hair using Volumista Mist ($34; oribe.com) to create body, then used a curling iron to add pin curls. Once the spirals were completely cool, he brushed through the style and misted on Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray ($38; oribe.com) to lock the elements. Thanks to the long-lasting hold, you’ll spend less time touching up, and more time mixing and mingling.
