Halloween is right around the corner, but if you’re still in search of the perfect costume, you’re in luck—we have gathered the best celebrity Halloween costumes to kick-start your All Hallows’ Eve style inspiration. Some celebs make dressing up a family affair: In 2012, Sandra Bullock and son Louis dressed up as Toy Story characters (pictured, left), while Jessica Alba and her clan suited up as the cast of Pixar’s The Incredibles. Meanwhile, stars like Martha Stewart and Blake Lively (pictured, right) prove that they take prepping for costume parties just as seriously as dressing for a red carpet event by pulling out all the stops. Whether you choose to dress up solo or with a group, we’re here to help you find some inspiration. Click through the gallery to see celebrities like Gisele Bündchen, Kim Kardashian, and Stacy Keibler dressed to the nines—and we’re not talking ballgowns and diamonds (only the Ellen DeGeneres spoofed version!), we’re talking $2,000+ wigs, Medusa headpieces, and seriously spooky contact lenses.
Thanks to her lush layers and perfect volume, Gisele Bundchen has long been a hair icon of ours. Now, with the launch of her hairstylist Harry Josh’s hair tool line, you can create her signature look at home. Starting in July, the hair pro will roll out a collection of tools on hairenvy.com, starting with an energy-efficient blow dryer for $300 that boasts wind power of 80 miles per hour. In addition to Gisele, Josh has also tended to the flawless strands of Rose Byrne and Amanda Seyfried, so we’re hoping his hair tools will lend us his magic touch. “The secret to my hairstyles is Harry Josh! He’s my hairstylist and is a dear, dear friend of mine,” Byrne told InStyle.com previously. “He’s so inventive, passionate, and talented. My hair is actually really thick and coarse, but somehow he tames it!” Find Harry Josh’s hair tool line on hairenvy.com starting July 1.

Alessandra Ambrosio, who will wear the highly coveted Fantasy Bra at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, posed with her 4-year-old daughter, Anja, for London Fog’s Winter 2012 ad campaign, and they look adorable! Following in the footsteps of Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Hendricks, and Gisele Bündchen as the face of the brand, Ambrosio and Anja model London Fog’s latest outerwear offerings in a series of sweet shots. “Having my daughter steal the spotlight is pretty funny and I just love it!” Ambrosio said of sharing the lens with her daughter. “She had a great time on set and is going to be wearing all of the London Fog kids jackets.” A budding supermodel, perhaps? Famed fashion photographer Mario Testino celebrated his first-ever U.S. museum show last night at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, where shoe designer Stuart Weitzman—Testino shot the footwear giant’s recent ad campaign—co-hosted (along with Swarovski) the likes of Gisele Bündchen, whose image is featured in the exhibit. “Mario’s work over the past three decades speaks for itself,” Weitzman told InStyle.com exclusively. “His photographs have the uncanny ability to transcend the page, and capture the true essence of fashion and glamour. [Testino's] advertising campaign for Stuart Weitzman has made a profound impact on the brand, and helped us to expand globally, seducing women around the world. We are incredibly honored to share in the celebration.” The two-part photo exhibition, dubbed In Your Face and British Royal Portraits, opens this Sunday (October 21) and runs through February 3 and June 16, respectively. On display are some of Testino’s most memorable shots, like Madonna‘s Ray of Light album cover, InStyle cover girl Gwyneth Paltrow dancing in a Paris hotel room, and, of course, numerous shots of our favorite royals, including Kate Middleton and Prince William. Now this is girl power! Forbes published its list of The 100 Women Who Run The World, and we are thrilled that they included some of our favorite ladies. We weren’t surprised to see Beyoncé, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Lady Gaga on the list, in a mix of CEOs, philanthropists, and world leaders. (German Chancellor Angela Merkel ranked number one, due in part to her status as the country’s first female chancellor.) Click through the gallery to see where some of our favorites ranked!
After a sneak preview of Gisele Bundchen’s David Yurman campaign in May, the jewelry brand just released the official photos today (including this exclusive look here). The black-and-white spread, shot by photographer Peter Lindbergh, features the Brazilian supermodel on the shores of Malibu wearing the jewelry designer’s latest dainty creations. “She has an inner-life,” Yurman told InStyle.com earlier this year. ”I hate to use the word sexy, but she’s sensual and fluid and beautiful.” Click through to see the final shots and more snaps from the shoot.
