Eva Longoria has jumped onto the bangs bandwagon! We figured something was up when the star posted a shot of herself in her hairstylist Ken Paves’ salon to Twitter on Valentine’s Day, and while running errands in Los Angeles yesterday, we got a glimpse of the finished look. “We’ve done every kind of look on her — long, short, pulled-up,” Paves told InStyle previously. “There’s really nothing she avoids.” Needless to say, we’re fans! The longer length makes room for versatility, allowing Longoria to wear her fringe to the front, or pushed to the side. Get a closer look at Longoria’s cut, and see more celebrity hair makeovers in our gallery.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that on average, Facebook users upload over 350 million photos to the site every day. (A whooping figure, for sure, but not surprising when you also consider how “selfie” was crowned 2013′s word of the year.)
As New Year’s Eve approaches, that figure is bound to increase — how can you make sure you don’t need to go on a de-tagging rampage Jan. 1? Check out our guide to never taking a bad picture again, complete with tips from pro photog Patrick McMullan, makeup artists, and a few tried-and-true tricks from celebrities (who get schooled in this kind of stuff before ever stepping foot on a red carpet).

The ladies of Lifetime’s new primetime soap Devious Maids heated things up at the premiere party last night in California! Ana Ortiz (in Herve L. Leroux) and Dania Ramirez, who play maids in the new series based off of popular telenovela Ellas Son la Alegrîa del Hogar, posed with executive producer Eva Longoria during the evening’s festivities. Devious Maids hails from Marc Cherry, the same writer and producer behind one of TV’s best guilty pleasures, Desperate Housewives, so get ready for some steamy TV when the show about a group of maids working for the rich and famous premieres on Lifetime Sunday, June 23 at 10/9c.

Eva Longoria brought the drama to the Cannes premiere of Le Passe by complementing her elegant Zuhair Murad number with an equally elegant cat eye. To create the look, Longoria’s makeup artist contoured her eyes using L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Quad in Army Brat ($8; lorealparisusa.com) and finished with a thick sweep of L’Oreal’s Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in black ($9; lorealparisusa.com). Getting the precise shape can be tricky, so we recommend looking down into your mirror as you apply the product. This helps you get the color as close to your lashes as possible, eliminating the risk of any telltale eyeliner gaps. Finally, use an angled cotton swab to bring the winged-out edges to a point.
