With a hot-ticket invitation to a Hollywood holiday party, Bryan (Andrew Rannells) invites his frenemy, Jane (Ellen Barkin), to be his date. After a few eggnogs, Jane loosens up and things take a turn for the worse. We won’t give anything away, but someone might get arrested! As for working with Ellen Barkin on set? “Pretty darn amazing,” star Justin Bartha told InStyle.com. Tune in tonight at 9:30/8:30c on NBC to see drunk Jane in all her glory!

Tuned In: 5 Things to Know About The New Normal

The New NormalTrae Patton/NBC

The New Normal kicked off last night on NBC and we were thoroughly charmed by its mostly sweet, sometimes snarky (ahem, Ellen Barkin) characters. The gist: Goldie agrees to be David and Bryan’s surrogate, bringing along her daughter, Shania, and relunctant grandmother, Jane. A new episode airs tonight at 9:30 EDT (in case you missed the pilot, you can catch up here) with the freshly minted family unit, shall we say, getting acquainted? Nothing like a meddling grandmother to stir the pot! Click through the gallery below to see 5 things you really need to know about Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s new show!

Celebrity Hairstylist Serge Normant’s New Product Line

Mar 7, 2011 @ 4:30 pm

What do Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore and Sarah Jessica Parker all have in common? They all have great hair and—not surprisingly—they share the same hairstylist, Serge Normant (inset). The hair guru, who owns two salons in New York City, just launched his own eight-piece line of shampoo, conditioner and styling aids, products he already uses on his celebrity clients, so you can get the same Hollywood hair on your own. Formulated with botanical oils, proteins and extracts, the range focuses on nourishing the hair shaft, not just styling it. “Having healthy hair is incredibly important,” Normant told InStyle exclusively. “In my opinion, healthy hair is always glamorous.” The line is available for $24 to $60 on SergeNormant.com. Learn how Normant uses the products on his top clients in the gallery!
