“Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” has long been a party game used to calculate how many people separate the actor from pretty much everyone else in Hollywood. But now, Google will do the math for you. The search engine has just introduced a feature called the “Bacon Number”: You type in the name of any celebrity, followed by the phrase “Bacon Number,” and Google will tell you how many degrees away that star is from KB. It’s brilliant, really. In honor of the new Bacon-centric search tool, we compiled a list of our favorite Bacon co-stars/leading ladies (including Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, and Demi Moore). Click through the gallery to see which other gorgeous actresses are just one-degree away.
Demi Moore returned to the spotlight in Beverly Hills last night, where she joined InStyle magazine to celebrate her pal Amanda de Cadenet’s new show, The Conversation, airing April 26th on Lifetime. For her big night out, the actress and executive producer of the series accessorized her all-Lanvin outfit with oversize jewels by the luxury label, including a pearl cross chain that dangled down to her waist, and a geometric wing pendant covered in crystals. “I normally don’t wear things this big,” Moore said. “But they have such soul to them.” Each piece sells for $1,485 (the cross at barneys.com; the wings at bergdorfgoodman.com).

Last night, InStyle celebrated Lifetime’s new interview series The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet with the ladies behind the powerful new series—executive producer Demi Moore (in Lanvin) and renowned photographer and host of the show Amanda de Cadenet (in Roland Mouret). “My show is really about celebrating women,” de Cadenet told us at the soiree, which was held at author Jane Buckingham’s Beverly Hills home. And her best friend Moore was there every step of the way. “I’ve seen them all,” Moore told her party pals—which included Nicole Richie, Michelle Tractenberg and Rachel Zoe—of the soon-to-air episodes. “It was me in the editing room on my iPad.” Conversation, which marks de Cadenet’s U.S. TV debut, premieres April 26th on Lifetime. Celebrities love Marios Schwab! The London-based, Austrian-Greek designer and former Halston creative director launched his namesake label in 2005, and just one year later won best “New Generation Designer” at the British Fashion Awards. He made his London Fashion Week debut in 2007, and ever since, his bold, structured designs have been red carpet regulars, appearing on stars like Emily Blunt, Demi Moore, Jessica Alba, Leighton Meester, and more. “I’m interested in cultural icons—women who have made an impact in history through their character,” Schwab told us in Los Angeles recently. “There are so many women who have created that.” His signature body-conscious designs, which often feature rich materials like leather, velvet and jacquard, can be purchased at saksfifthavenue.com and openingceremony.com. If you pick up one of his creations, keep his dressing tip in mind: “The Marios Schwab girl is mystical and she likes enjoying fashion, but she also likes something that is not overshadowing her character and personality.” See who else loves Marios Schwab in the gallery!
