It was a sea of shimmering sequins, Swarovski crystals and glittering snowflakes Wednesday night at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City, where the 18th annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place. From feathered corsets to custom painted wings, there was no shortage of glitz and glam at this year’s show. Featuring performances by Taylor Swift, Neon Jungle and Fall Out Boy, the evening kicked off with a “British Invasion,” theme followed by five additional themes (“Birds of Paradise,” “Parisian Nights,” “Shipwrecked,” “Snow Angels” and “PINK Network”) and featured Angels Candice Swanepoel (who rocked the $10 million Royal Fantasy Bra and Belt adorned with over 4,200 precious gems); recently engaged Behati Prinsloo (fiance Adam Levine cheered her on from the front row!); Alessandra Ambrosio and Karlie Kloss, who rocked a Swarovski crystal-embellished bodysuit. Click through to see the highlights from the show, and tune in on December 10 to see the full one-hour special, airing on CBS.
Candice Swanepoel has earned the honor of wearing the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra down the catwalk! The gorgeous South African model will follow in the footsteps of other illustrious Victoria’s Secret models, but her walk down the runway might be one of the most memorable in recent years—the Royal Fantasy Bra and matching Belt is worth a jaw-dropping $10 million dollars, making it one of the most expensive bras in the fashion show’s history, topped only by Gisele Bundchen’s $12.5 million in 2005. The pricey and beautiful piece of lingerie, which was created by world-renowned jeweler Mouawad, is adorned with over 4,200 precious gems, including rubies, diamonds, and yellow sapphires all handset in 18-karat gold. But the real gem? A 52-karat, pear shaped center ruby. We can’t wait to see Candice Swanepoel strut her stuff in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which airs on December 10 on CBS.

Victoria’s Secret will launch its new Body by Victoria collection of comfy bras, demi bras and push-ups in stores tomorrow. Before the lineup hits the racks across America, we got an exclusive first look when we joined VS models Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton at Stage 12 in Steiner Studios at the Brooklyn Navy Yard as they filmed promos for the line. “It’s like a girl-next-door look,” said Prinsloo, pre-engagement to Adam Levine. “That’s what we want people to see — it’s relatable, comfortable, beautiful underwear.” Click the gallery to go behind-the-scenes at the BBV shoot through the lens of InStyle.com photographer Alex Reside, and shop the collection in stores and on victoriassecret.com, available July 30th.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel knows a thing or two about strong feminine sex appeal, and that’s just what she’s bringing to Swarovski’s latest ad campaign. Shot by fashion photographer Nick Knight (one of Gaga’s favorites), the images depict Swanepoel donning sleek-looking, crystallized active wear that include dumb bells, skiing goggles, and a helmet. “Nick catches her spirit perfectly,” Swarvoski executive Nadja Swarovski said in a statement. “Beautiful, healthy, and strong, she is in charge, and can compete in any way. She is also fun and kind of humorous.”

Yesterday, model Candice Swanepoel helped launch Victoria’s Secret’s new fresh-scented Body by Victoria bodycare products in New York (fragrance shown), and we loved the sultry look makeup artist Meredith Baraf gave the South African Angel. Thankfully, Baraf gave us the full breakdown of her look so you get try it yourself, step-by-step instructions and all. Click through the gallery to get the rundown, and check out the Body by Victoria collection in stores now at victoriassecret.com.
Looking for an easy warm-weather hairstyle? Try variations of the milkmaid braid, as seen on Padma Lakshmi, Florence Welch, and Candice Swanepoel. Whether worn in an updo, with bangs, or half-down, these cute plaits are an easy way to change up your style, and beat the heat. Intricate plaits have more staying power when hair isn’t squeaky-clean, so work with second-day strands, or spritz on a texturizer to create grip. When securing the style, opt for hair pins in a color similar to your own hair for a more streamlined look.
