Rashida Jones Thinks She Dresses Like Her Stylist, Brad Goreski

Feb 18, 2013 @ 9:00 am

Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones works with celebrity-loved stylist Brad Goreski for her glamorously laid-back look, and she told us the one key factor that makes their relationship work so well. “We’re a good match because we kind of dress alike in real life,” Jones told InStyle.com. “I like menswear and he likes menswear, and we have a preppy streak.” But their similar style doesn’t mean Goreski wants her to dress the same all the time. “Brad pushes me in [different] directions,” Jones told InStyle.com. “I like weird, architectural, strange clothes. He tries to find the feminine version of that weird thing I love.” May their fashion love affair continue!

Kate Spade’s 20th Anniversary Collection Is New York-Inspired

Kate Spade New York’s fall 2013 collection is definitely in an Empire State of mind! Creative Director Deborah Lloyd and Head Stylist Brad Goreski were both on-hand to unveil the brand’s 20th anniversary collection, complete with whimsical prints by artist Craig Redman and must-have bow-adorned “beau” bags. ”New York is the city our brand started in 20 years ago, so the inspiration is ‘when you first come to the city,‘” Lloyd told InStyle.com, explaining that even the pink leopard print featured was inspired by Studio 54. “When I came in the ’80s, driving into Manhattan and seeing that amazing skyline, I felt all the energy and the possibility, and that what this is about.” Goreski added that his favorite piece is the sparkling tuxedo heels. (Were the black bow-ties on them a nod to his own style? “Maybe!” he laughed.) The beauty also incorporated the history of the brand, as all of the models sported long nails polished in black or pink with gold studs that looked just like the quilting on Spade’s chain bags. Congratulations, Kate Spade on 20 years—here’s to many more anniversaries!

AMAs 2012: Stacy Keibler and Stylist Brad Goreski’s Red Carpet Moment

Nov 18, 2012 @ 9:00 pm

After learning last month that Stacy Keibler started working with celebrity-loved stylist Brad Goreski, the pair showed off their palpable chemistry on the American Music Awards red carpet when he interviewed her about the look he created for her. “I’m a big disco ball!” she said of her highly-reflective Collette Dinnigan mini, which she paired with Neil Lane jewels and her Jimmy Choo pumps—a look he had put together. “You look so gorgeous!” he told his client, who was on hand to present the award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year. Before double-cheek kissing and bidding adieu, he encouraged her one last time: “Shimmy shake and razzle dazzle!” Now that’s a cute fashion couple!

Stacy Keibler on Working with Brad Goreski: ‘I’m Having a Blast!’

Oct 25, 2012 @ 11:42 am

George Clooney isn’t the only one who’s got his hands on Stacy Keibler these days—Brad Goreski does, too! Keibler is now working with the celebrity stylist and former InStyle contributor, which means he helped put her in these two Monique Lhuillier looks shown here. “I’m really having a blast with Brad,” she told InStyle.com at the Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee Project launch in New York City. “We are on the same page. We have an amazing connection when we work together and we have so much fun. That’s really important.” So, can we expect to see bright colors, Brad’s favorite? Absolutely. “I really love color, actually,” she told us. “There is a great energy that comes with color.” Agreed!

Exclusive Details: Stacy Keibler Is Working with Stylist Brad Goreski Now

Oct 11, 2012 @ 11:52 am

When we spotted Stacy Keibler at The Macallan/Annie Leibovitz photo exhibit last night at the Bowery Hotel in New York, we couldn’t help but notice that the model girlfriend of George Clooney was carrying the bright red Kate Spade New York Post Street Little Adair clutch to offset her all-black outfit. Turns out, there are some interesting connections here: Keibler revealed exclusively to InStyle.com that she has been working with celebrity stylist (and color proponent) Brad Goreski, who is also the exclusive brand stylist of Kate Spade: He helped her pick out that amazing vintage Azzedine Alaïa cutout dress she wore to last week’s Argo premiere. “I worked with Brad, and I put that Alaïa dress on, and it was just like, ‘Done,‘” she told us. (The stylist has also worked with the likes of Jessica Alba, Rashida Jones, and Christina Ricci.) “It was vintage from New York, and it just fit perfectly. It was just the one.” Now we’re wondering if Goresky influenced her eye-catching look last night—a Bill Blass blazer, J Brand jeans, and sky-high Jimmy Choo stilettos. And on the subject of those shoes, which made the already 5’11″ Keibler well over six feet: “I have a pair of flats in the car for later,” Keibler told us.
