Revenge is back tonight! And while we can’t tell you whether or not Emily and Daniel are getting back together, we do have some important scoop: Ashley Madekwe loves her Revenge costumes! As the show’s resident Brit, Ashley Davenport, Madekwe spends her days in designer duds, and we caught up with her on the set of her shoot for Joico, the haircare line for which she is the latest face. “On the Revenge set, even if they’re not showing my feet, I’ll still wear my heels because it gets me in the feeling of Ashley Davenport,” Madkewe told InStyle.com, then added with a laugh, “Ashley wouldn’t be caught dead in Uggs! And my set shoes are Uggs.” She also picked her favorite looks from this season and last! Click through to see them, and tune into Revenge at 9 pm on ABC to see what Ashley wears next.
Emmys fashion isn’t just about Sunday’s big red carpet arrivals—the whole weekend is filled with fun parties to dress up for. And one popular look that leading ladies love is lace in eye-popping hues. ”I’m really feeling lace at the moment,” Revenge star Ashley Madekwe (in Kain) told InStyle.com at the BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea. “I told that to my stylist, Joey Tierney, when we pulled looks, and she came up with this.” Her teal dress fell in line with other vibrant designs, like Nina Dobrev‘s white lace Zuhair Murad, Taylor Swift‘s red French Connection looks for the iHeartRadio Music Festival, and Girls star Allison Williams‘s neon pink floral lace tank top by Oscar de la Renta for the Variety and Women in Film Pre-Emmy Event. “I love to wear color because I wear black all day every day when I’m at home,” Madekwe added. “So when I go out, it’s nice to wear some color.” Perhaps we’ll see more bright lace looks on the Emmys red carpet. Ellie Kemper, Ashley Madekwe, Sophia Bush, and Rihanna all matched their manicures to their dresses, a look that isn’t overkill if it’s done with subtlety. Bush went trendy in tangerine from head to toe, while Kemper, Madekwe, and Rihanna pulled just one color from their dresses to mirror on their nails. When trying this, pick a color that is a shade darker than your outfit—the deeper hue adds contrast and breaks up the effect. If you’re feeling adventurous, switch up your finishes like Rihanna, who used a shine-free suede effect on the black portions of her nails. Christian Louboutin’s “Un Bout” pump is one of the most popular shoes in Hollywood right now, with Brooklyn Decker, Jennifer Lopez, Ashley Madekwe, and Emma Stone all scooping up the crimson version of these illusion heels. We love how Lopez and Stone defied the matchy-matchy rule by pairing the heels with scarlet dresses in the same color, and also how Decker and Madekwe highlighted the splashes of red in their ensembles with Louboutin’s design. While the strawberry shade was popular for spring (and sadly no longer available), Louboutin rolled out a new black version for fall, complete with spikes and studs ($1,435 at net-a-porter.com). While Ashley Madekwe may have just tied the knot with her longtime beau Iddo Goldberg this weekend, the Revenge star has been finalizing her wedding details since we caught up with her back in February at InStyle‘s Hollywood Oscar viewing party. “I know that we’re having vintage crockery or vintage mismatched plates and cups,” Madekwe told us. “I know that the flowers will be peonies.” At the time, the actress still hadn’t picked out her wedding dress, but in keeping with her vintage theme, she did hint that the pros at Decades were helping her decide on retro gown. We can’t wait to see photos!

Ashley Madekwe is a married woman! The 30-year-old Revenge star and her beau of five years, actor Iddo Goldberg, said “I do” yesterday at an intimate ceremony in the English countryside. While there are no details on her dress just yet, the actress did tweet a photo of her wedding-day jewelry—diamond and platinum danglers and a matching wraparound bracelet from Forevermark. We bet her gown was just as glamorous!

Season 1 of Revenge came to a close last night, and the final episode gave us a rare glimpse of Ashley’s off-duty style. “I live for the moments when we get to see [Ashley Davenport] outside of the office or away from party planning,” Ashley Madekwe told InStyle.com exclusively. “It gives us a chance to see what she likes to wear in her down time.” Together with costume designer Jill Ohanneson, Madekwe put together this look, Topshop skinny jeans and a magenta silk blouse from Holmes & Yang. “We bought the Haute Hippie Suede jacket as an Ashley Davenport homage to Chanel early on in the season and I was so happy that we finally got to to use it,” she added. Find a similar HH jacket at saksfifthavenue.com. Revenge, how we’ll miss you until next season!

With just one week left until the show’s season finale, things got even more scandalous on last night’s episode of Revenge—and we’re not just talking plot line. “Now that Ashley no longer works for Victoria we decided to play up the edgier side of her closet,” Ashley Madekwe told InStyle.com exclusively. “The sheer animal print Equipment blouse would have been inappropriate at Grayson manor but we felt that Conrad would appreciate a bit of transparency.” We can’t help but agree! Steal Ashley’s style: A similar zebra print Equipment top is available for $210 on net-a-porter.com.
