“It was the Wild West of Theater!” is how Amber Heard described last night’s performance of the 12th annual 24 Hour Plays, a theater experience presented by Montblanc in which six short plays are written, rehearsed, and performed in a 24-hour time period, all to benefit the Urban Arts Partnership, which supports arts education for children in need. “It was the best time. It was a lot of fun it was the kind of environment that allows you to feel free enough to really enjoy yourself and experiment with new things and it was for a good cause.” Heard was only one of the 27 actors who performed at the American Airlines Theater, and she and her fellow castmates—Vanessa Hudgens, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Olivia Wilde, Jack McBrayer, Justin Long, and Jason Biggs (in his third year performance) included—all breathed a sigh of relief at the end, toasting to their success with an after-party at B.B. King Blues Club. More than anything, now they can rest. “I’m excited for sleep more than you can imagine!” Heard added. Click through the gallery to see more of last night’s biggest parties.
Amber Heard is taking on a new role, this time as the face of Guess’s upcoming fragrance, Guess Girl! The star, who was signed to front Guess last year, wears a white knotted button-down over a purple sequined dress in the images, and we’re loving how the hibiscus accent mirrors the scent’s flower-adorned flacon. Guess Girl, which hits stores early next year for $40 to $62, is a feminine blend of raspberry nectar, orchid, and Madagascar vanilla. Expect to see Heard’s ads roll out beginning in February!

Add a luxe touch to your beauty routine and sweep on a rich, gilded shadow like Emily Blunt, Amber Heard, Rihanna, and Kate Mara. This metallic hue warms up all skin tones, and can be worn a variety of ways. Blunt and Mara kept their looks subtle, pairing antique gold shadow with a natural lip. Heard channeled her inner pin-up girl, with pale platinum eye makeup, strong brows, and a crimson pout, while Rihanna went for a 24-karat bronze goddess effect. The gilded age of shadows isn’t limited to just one hue. Get flirty with a warm rose gold, or line your eyes with a sultry weathered shade. Be sure to use an eye primer to give your solid gold look extra staying power. A shade this rich should last all day long!

And the Oscar for Best Supporting Pup goes to…Uggie! The fox terrier took a walk down the Academy Awards red carpet (in an 18k-gold Chopard dog collar) to celebrate The Artist‘s Best Picture win last Sunday, accompanied by Best Actor winner Jean Dujardin. Meanwhile, Amber Heard and her pink-highlighted Yorkshire terrier, Pistol, went shopping at an Express in Los Angeles. Click through the gallery to see more of Hollywood’s famous furry friends!
New York Fashion Week may be winding down, but it’s not slowing down one bit! Maria Menounos surprised the crowd at Pamella Roland by walking the runway, while Jessica Alba, Paula Patton and Amber Heard lent their support to designer pal Michael Kors. Naeem Khan showed a collection fit for the red carpet, with looks covered in hand-applied silver embellishments. See more of the most exciting Fashion Week news in the gallery!
If you need further convincing that pink lipstick is having a moment, look to Jennifer Hudson, Amber Heard, Olivia Wilde and Kourtney Kardashian for proof! The stars have been looking pretty in pink on and off the red carpet, and while the shade may have a summer feel, lipsticks with an opaque or satin finish are perfect for the winter. Pink lipstick is also a great alternative to the traditional red lip, so if the thought of a full-on crimson lipstick intimidates you, or you want to switch it up for the holidays, think pink! Suit up, ladies! Celebrities are loving the pantsuit look, hitting the red carpet in fresh ways to style the matching separates. Blake Lively picked a vibrant bold blue hue by Elie Saab; Amber Heard offset her herringbone pieces with a red brooch and pumps; Heidi Klum went head-to-toe monochromatic in a cherry bodysuit, pants, and jacket by Michael Kors (and topped it off with matching lips!); and Shailene Woodley added a fishtail braid and neutral gray pumps to her traditional black style by Dolce & Gabbana.
