Now this is a reason to shop—and celebrate! For the second year, Vestiaire Collective, a site that serves as a safe platform to buy and sell authentic pre-owned luxury items, is hosting an annual charity sale of “partywear” pieces, which happily coincides with the start of holiday dress shopping. Celebrities and designers alike have donated high-end coveted pieces starting at £100 (or, roughly $162) from their personal collections, with proceeds going to their charity of choice. Scoop up Rachel Weisz‘s pink Joseph dress for £250 (or, $404) or Gemma Arterton‘s leather Armani dress for £750 (or, $1,212), both benefiting children’s charity NSPCC. “We are thrilled that so many leading lights in the fashion world have come out to support our annual charity initiative,” said Fanny Moizant, UK Managing Director of the site, in a statement. “This year we expect to raise thousands for charities from Barnardo’s to NSPCC.” Talk about feel-good fashion! Head on over to vestiairecollective.com to snag a designer piece that’s (finally) worth the splurge.
Taking neutrals to shimmering new heights, Rachel Weisz accented a belted iridescent Michael Kors gown with Sophia Webster’s rose gold Azealia clutch. Shop the style for $357 at net-a-porter.com, and catch the spellbinding actress in Oz the Great and Powerful, out on DVD next month.

Inspired by Oz the Great and Powerful: Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams’s “Ruby Slipper” StyleMar 8, 2013 @ 1:52 pm
There is no accessory more important in the classic Wizard of Oz fairytale than the click-your-heels-together-and-pray-for-home ruby slippers. And since Judy Garland’s 1939 originals are currently in the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Beverly Hills (thanks to some help from Leonardo DiCaprio), we asked our March cover girls—Oz the Great and Powerful stars Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams—for their 21st-century updates. Their picks:
Pick: Chanel’s Ankle-Strap Pumps
Why: “Such a classy look! What really appeals to me is that they’d be equally gorgeous with jeans or something dressier.”
Where: $1,350; at select Chanel boutiques; visit chanel.com for locations.
Pick: Charlotte Olympia’s Clio Leopard Heels
Why: “The heels on this pair make me feel teetery-tottery—in a good way, like I’ve had a glass of Champagne!”
Where: $1,095; call 212-744-1842 or visit modaoperandi.com.

The bewitching trio of Oz The Great and Powerful continued their world tour last night in London, premiering the film at the Empire Theatre on Leicester Square in the heart of the city’s theater district. InStyle’s March cover girls Rachel Weisz (in Michael Kors), Michelle Williams (in Burberry Prorsum), and Mila Kunis (in Alexander McQueen), walked the yellow brick road alongside the “wizard” himself, James Franco. The film hits theaters in the U.S. March 8.

When it comes to fabulous costumes, there’s no place like Disney. To coincide with the March 8 release of Oz The Great and Powerful, Disney Store designers have created two adult-sized, limited-edition couture costumes inspired by two of the tale’s iconic witches, Theodora (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (the Good Witch), played by InStyle’s March cover girls Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams. Only 300 editions of each look were made, and you can shop both the Wicked ($400) and Good ($350) costumes now on disneystore.com (along with an entire collection of Oz-inspired goodies). “I spent a lot of the shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in costume,” Kunis told InStyle of playing the West’s most infamous Wicked Witch. And while broomstick flying might not be on your agenda, it’s still fun to imagine wearing a pointy hat inspired by Theodora’s infamous black topper. Unless, that is, you’re more of a Glinda girl. Vote below and tell us which witch are you: Good or Bad?
