Looks like celebrities have a case of spring fever! With the weather beginning to warm up, they headed outdoors to enjoy the sun’s rays, and snapped some great pictures along the way. Heidi Klum shared a photo of herself basking in the bright sunshine, while Lauren Conrad made us all jealous by posting a photo of her lavender pink lemonade and gorgeous scenic view. But they weren’t the only celebrities to snap and share their weekend moments on Instagram!
Not only is Nicole Kidman our March cover girl, but she also stars as the beautiful and iconic princess and actress Grace Kelly in Grace of Monaco. The first trailer for the film is now here, giving us an enticing glimpse of the 46-year-old Kidman in her new role. Set in 1962, six years after Kelly’s “Wedding of the Century,” the film portrays a year in the life of the princess as she attempts to reconcile her acting career with her roles as a mother, monarch of a European principality, and wife to Prince Ranier III. While playing Kelly is a daunting task, Kidman has proven that she can shine when faced with a difficult role. ”I always try to push through fear,” Kidman says in the March InStyle. “People always say, ‘Oh, you take such risks,’ or ‘You’re brave.’ And I’m like, ‘Well, if you only knew—inside I’m really frightened!’”
Also starring Tim Roth, Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia, Derek Jacobi, and Paz Vega, the much buzzed about Grace of Monaco is set to open the Cannes Film Festival in May. Check out the trailer above—and get ready to watch Kidman take on the elegant and beautiful Kelly in what may be her most compelling role yet.
Happy birthday to the handsome Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actor Jon Hamm, who turns 43 today! Best known as dapper ad man Don Draper on AMC’s Mad Men, the former high-school football star is a versatile actor who’s equally comfortable doing comedy (like his incredibly funny and sleazy role in Bridesmaids, and Tina Fey’s clueless neighbor on 30 Rock) as he is drama (starring alongside Daniel Radcliffe in the recent Ovation mini-series A Young Doctor’s Notebook). He has also ventured into directing (he helmed two episodes of Mad Men) and along with actress Jennifer Westfeldt, his longtime love of over 16 years, he runs the production company Points West Pictures.
Besides Mad Men (which returns for its seventh season on April 13), Hamm will appear on the big screen in the Disney drama Million Dollar Arm and voice a role in the Despicable Me 2 sequel, The Minions, alongside Steve Carell and Sandra Bullock, out next year.
To celebrate the actor’s birthday, see how he’s changed through the years (though his hotness somehow stays the same)!
Our favorite furry cast is coming back to the big screen! In Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted (in theaters March 21), Kermit and the crew (well, mostly Kermit) will face the fuzz as he battles his crook of a doppelganger Constantine in a case of mistaken identity. Judging from the trailer, we’re expecting to see some playful Muppet delinquency, loads of singing, and a flurry of bold sartorial choices, texture- and color-wise. In honor of the latter, we’ve compiled pieces that speak to the fuzzy, feathery nature, from bags swathed in lush fur to calf-hair flats.
Worried you’ll look too much like a Muppet? “Pick one thing and keep the rest minimal,” Katy Perry‘s stylist Johnny Wujek tells InStyle, who outfitted the singer in Simone Rocha’s canary mohair topper (above). “Playing with colors and textures says you’re confident and like to have fun with style.” Well said!

Happy 30th birthday, Olivia Wilde! The stunning actress has every reason to celebrate: Not only has she found happiness with her funnyman fiancé, Jason Sudeikis (who gave her a beyond-jaw-dropping vintage emerald-and-diamond engagement ring), but she also has a baby on the way! She’s treating her pregnancy with her own brand of humor, thanking her 1.25 million Twitter followers for their congratulations with this tweet: “WOW. You guys are awesome. So kind. Thank you thank you thank you! PS. Babies eat mostly salsa right?”
InStyle’s August 2013 cover girl—who appeared in the Oscar-nominated Her and is due to appear in upcoming films like the dramedy Better Living Through Chemistry, co-starring Sam Rockwell, as well as the comedy The Longest Week alongside Jason Bateman and Billy Crudup—is also intent on using her voice to make a difference. Wilde started a Crowdrise campaign to benefit Artists for Peace and Justice, which serves the poorest communities in Haiti with programs in education and healthcare.
Wilde is not only funny and philanthropic, she’s also a red-carpet stunner: InStyle named her one of the 10 best-dressed stars at the 2014 Golden Globes for her bump-hugging dark-green Gucci gown. And before she became a mama-to-be, InStyle.com readers voted her A.L.C crop top ensemble at the 2013 ESPY Awards as one of the top 5 looks of 2013. A Revlon spokesperson, she’s also the celebrity face of Avon’s Today. Tomorrow. Always. scent collection.

Lupita Nyong’o is having a good week. Not only did she win the best supporting actress Oscar for her role in 12 Years a Slave, she also killed it on the red carpet. Her pale blue pleated Prada gown, complete with a plunging neckline, was princess-like in the best way possible. But the real show stopper was on her head: The star’s diamond and gold Fred Leighton headband completed her Academy Award-winning look, landing her on countless best dressed lists and even spawning its own Twitter account.
