We have an idea of what Sofia Vergara might wear to the Golden Globes, but what about her wedding? People StyleWatch reported that Vergara (who’s engaged to businessman Nick Loeb) has her eyes set on Vera Wang. “I want something modern and elegant. I’ve been married before, so nothing too traditional or crazy,” she explained earlier this week. We hear you! With Vergara’s penchant for sexy body-hugging silhouettes, we found six dresses that fit the bill (granted, we broadened our scope to include other designers). Click through to see the gorgeous gowns we picked out for Vergara’s big day.
Congratulations are in order for Zoe Saldana! The Star Trek into Darkness actress tied the knot to Italian soccer star and artist Marco Perego and it happened back in June. The news recently broke that Saldana secretly wed her beau—both 35-years-old—in a small, private ceremony outside of London surrounded by their family and friends. The couple reportedly have known each other for quite some time and started dating back in May. These quiet celebrity marriages are certainly becoming a trend, especially with the recently surprise nuptials of Scandal actress Kerry Washington and her now husband, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Nnamdi Asomugha back in July. And Kate Winslet’s intimate New York City marriage to Ned Rocknroll took a few weeks to leak out to the press in December of 2012. So tell us, what do you think of these Hollywood’s secret marriages?

What happens when you can’t decide on a wedding band style? Sometimes you just go for two! That’s exactly what Kate Bosworth did for her nuptials to director Michael Polish, enlisting the team at Ocappi. Haki Abehsera, creative director of the fine jewelry retailer, tells us that while the first band boasts 18 brilliant baguette diamonds, it was designed with a slim profile to complement her 1920s engagement ring. “She expressed how much she loved her engagement ring and how she wanted something to accompany it without taking too much attention away from it,” he explains. The second, however, features 12 larger baguette diamonds and has…a little more oomph. “Michael mentioned that maybe we should do something with 12 stones representing each month of the year. That’s where we decided not to be subtle and how ring number two was created,” Abehsera adds. We love that the groom helped in the design process—we predict these will be pinned by many an upcoming bride.

Congrats to the happy couple! Kate Bosworth and director husband Michael Polish tied the knot this weekend in Phillipsburg, Montana. The pair, who frequented summer music festivals and New York Fashion Week front-row and hand-in-hand this past year, had the Martha Stewart Weddings team on-hand to plan, execute, and document all the details. According to the staff, the actress wore two custom Oscar de la Renta gowns, and the groom chose Brooks Brothers. Bosworth completed her look with gorgeous Jimmy Choo ”Lotus” heels. Bosworth made a popular choice for bridal footwear–her jeweled sandals appear to be sold out everywhere! The big question: Where will the two honeymoon?

Congratulations Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez! The actors wed at the Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France this past weekend, exchanging vows among 60 family and friends during both a civil union and religious ceremony, according to People.com. The couple met on set of their film, Dark Tide, in 2010, and got engaged in January 2012 — a surprise since she had sworn off marriage after two divorces (baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benét). ”I will never, never get married again,” Berry, now 46, told InStyle in April 2007. “Actually it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.” By the time she covered our November 2012 issue, she had changed her mind. ”It’s another one of those never-say-never things,” admits Berry, who had sworn off marriage after two divorces. “I’m a hopeless romantic, and I won’t stop till I get it right!” And Martinez, 47, is her perfect match: “He’s silly, a clown, and very much the life of the party, which is good for someone like me. Danny Downer…been there, done that. Now I like Louie Lightfoot!” Congratulations to the couple. They are also expecting their first child together this fall.

Halle Berry is set to walk down the aisle with fiance Olivier Martinez this weekend after a 14-month engagement. And with the nuptials pending and a baby boy on the way (due this fall), there’s much to celebrate. Given Berry’s impeccable maternity style and her love of both flowy fabrics that drape and body-hugging silhouettes, we know her wedding dress will be one to watch. That’s why we scouted the runways, including Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera and Reem Acra, and rounded up our top seven bridal gowns fit for the fashionable star and her baby bump. Click to take a look at our Berry-inspired picks that had us saying, “I do.”
Elisha Cuthbert got her happy ending this weekend when she married Toronto Maple Leafs captain, 28-year-old Dion Phaneuf. The couple said “I do” in their native Canada, at the St. James Church in Summerfield, Prince Edward Island among more than 300 family and friends, reports People.com. The 32-year-old Happy Endings actress wore a traditional long-sleeve lace gown cinched at the waist with a flared tulle skirt. Save for the crystal belt, it is a similar design to the most famous wedding dress in the past decade, that of Kate Middleton. Cuthbert and her groom, in a black suit with a white vest and bow-tie, have been dating since 2008 and got engaged in 2012. Congratulations to the couple!
