Cartier’s got a new “it” bracelet! To honor Queen Elizabeth’s 60th year on the throne—her diamond anniversary—the monarchy will open several exhibitions throughout 2012. One of note: “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration,” set to open at Buckingham Palace this summer, which will feature the Queen’s vast collection of the anniversary’s signature stone. The exhibition will explore “the many ways in which diamonds have been used by British monarchs over the last 200 years,” the Palace wrote. One showstopper will be a rare 23.6-carat pink diamond by Cartier, set in a brooch with 200 smaller diamonds, which was presented to the Queen in 1953, WWD reports. Talk about bling!
