The Time 100 Gala, held to celebrate the magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world, took over New York’s Lincoln Center last night! It was quite the star-packed affair, with celebrities including Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel (both in Tom Ford), Claire Danes (in Lanvin), Girls creator Lena Dunham (in Saint Laurent), Michael Kors, and Olivia Munn (in a dress by the designer) mixing and mingling at the event. The festivities included performances by Miguel and Christina Aguilera, as well as a rousing speech by Vice President Joe Biden who asserted to the audience, “This list is unified by a simple belief that it’s all about basically not being told it can’t be done.” Click the photo to see more.

Selena Gomez kicked off the week on a summery note, ranking in Monday’s Look of the Day with her two-piece Dolce & Gabbana number. We loved how she complemented the tangerine ensemble with a light orange lip, so with the help of her makeup artist Karan Mitchell, we tracked down the exact shade she used! “We took inspiration from the tropical colors in her outfit,” said Mitchell, who used Tom Ford‘s Lip Color Shine in Frolic. “It’s a soft and sexy coral shade.” The lip shines, which are the latest additions to Ford’s ultra-luxe product lineup, impart a sheer wash of color that can be layered for a more intense effect. Real-life married couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer attended Tom Ford’s cocktail party at his Beverly Hills boutique, held to benefit Project Angel Food. The organization delivers meals created by professional chefs to homebound people suffering from serious illnesses like HIV/AIDS. The couple, who just welcomed twins in September, will return to HBO this summer for the sixth season of the salacious, New Orleans-based vampire show.

Justin Timberlake Debuts “Suit & Tie” Lyric Video, Will Release Album March 19

Just more than a week after releasing “Suit & Tie,” his first single in nearly six years, Justin Timberlake premiered the lyric video! The clip strays from a standard lyric video in that it doesn’t just reveal the song’s words, it also shows Timberlake in all his well-suited glory, flashing Tom Ford ties (the designer is also name-dropped in Jay-Z’s verse on the track) and grooming himself for a big night out. Plus, it seems that JT really has something to prepare for: watch the video closely at 5:20 for a blink-of-the-eye announcement: he will release his new album The 20/20 Experience on March 19! Plus, he will perform for the first time in almost five years, at the DirecTV Super Saturday Night party in New Orleans on February 2nd, the eve of the Super Bowl. While his performance is invite-only, we anticipate more public appearances from the crooner in the near future!
