It doesn’t get more glamorous than this at Cannes! The annual amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala is traditionally the biggest red carpet event of the Cannes Film Festival, and the turnout at last night’s 20th anniversary of the event didn’t disappoint. Olivia Palermo (in Roberto Cavalli), Jessica Chastain (in Saint Laurent), Heidi Klum (in Marchesa), and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (in Dior), all came for the festivities to raise awareness and funds for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, which is dedicated to research, prevention, and education for the disease. The night included dinner, dancing, and, as a special treat, a live fashion show sponsored by the World Gold Council’s LoveGold initiative where 38 models walked the runway in glittering gold designs for The Ultimate Gold Collection Fashion Show. The Cannes Film Festival red carpet is known for its parade of glamorous dresses. Repeats are rare. That’s why we’re particularly intrigued by the Ulyana Sergeenko silhouette that become the most popular at this year’s festival, with three stars choosing the same look by the Russian designer. While the base of the dress is the same for each (off the shoulders with a deep plunging neckline), the bottoms vary slightly. Chinese actress Zhang Yuqi’s green version had a ballgown skirt, Fan Bingbing’s ice blue design had a train, and Natalia Vodianova‘s red tea-length style hit just above her ankles. So, whose look do you prefer? Tell us by voting in the poll below!

Bulgari celebrated the 50th anniversary of Cleopatra at the Cannes Film Festival! Following a screening of the epic movie, the famed jewelry brand hosted a reception that showcased the famous collection of jewels star Elizabeth Taylor wore and received during filming (many as gifts from Richard Burton). Jessica Chastain (in Givenchy) was among the guests invited to view the baubles, which included Taylor’s emerald and diamond brooch, snake wrap bracelet, and beautiful hand mirror (shown). Bravo, Jessica Chastain! The actress celebrated the 50th anniversary of Cleopatra by watching the classic at a screening during the Cannes Film Festival yesterday, and after the showing, she teamed up with Bulgari to host a private reception where the Bulgari jewels Elizabeth Taylor wore in the film went on display. With that great honor comes great perks, including being able to wear one of the late legend’s pieces. She picked this Bulgari sapphire and diamond masterpiece. The stunning jewel is over 29 inches long. The sugarloaf cabochon at the center of the design is 52.72 carats. It was one of several stunning jewels Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor for her 40th birthday. “I introduced her to beer and she introduced me to Bulgari,” Burton joked years later of his Bulgari shopping trips with Taylor. Gorgeous, don’t you think?
