Donna Karan has recently added e-commerce and some other fantastic features to DonnaKaran.com. Apart from browsing all of her great fall merch (we’re obsessed with all those black dresses!), one of our favorite elements is the new ”Women Who Inspire” section which highlights famous faces like Demi Moore, Brooke Shields, Nicole Kidman and Susan Sarandon standing up for terrific causes. On the site, the designer explains, “I believe in the power of women. As nurturers, we have a unique ability to care and share and make the world a better place.” Seems like Donna’s definitely doing her part giving us a place to shop and learn more about important charities.

On the September 22nd episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Brooke Shields divulged that she can still fit into the Calvin Klein jeans she wore in the iconic commercial 30 years ago at the age of 15. The actress and former model’s mom, Teri, had kept the jeans since the ’80s and when Shields finally got them back, the 45-year-old mom of two admitted, “They didn’t look pretty, but they fit.” In the ad, Shields suggestively said, “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.” She told DeGeneres, “That was one of the first times they had sort of smart and provocative television commercials.” Watch the full interview after the jump.

In her second year as the face of Royal Velvet, Brooke Shields made the home brand’s newest ad campaign a family affair. The actress’s husband, producer Chris Henchy, and their two daughters, Rowan and Grier, joined her at a private estate in West Hollywood for the super cute photo shoot, which features the gorgeous family snuggled in Royal Velvet’s soft linens and wrapped up in their comfy bath robes and plush towels. “It was such a treat to have my husband and kids with me,” Shields says in a video on Royal Velvet’s site. “Having my husband appreciate how hard it is to [model]. I think he has a first-hand appreciation now.” The ads debut next month, but we got a sneak peek at the final shots as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the Henchys in action.
