That’s a wrap! The 86th annual Academy Awards have finally concluded, marking the end to a very exciting and surprising awards season (which featured unforgettable moments from Jared Leto‘s comeback in Dallas Buyers Club, to Lupita Nyong’o‘s breakout role in 12 Years a Slave). In case you missed the almost 4-hour long Ellen DeGeneres-hosted Oscars ceremony, scroll down to see our six favorite moments!
In the world of men’s fashion, 2013 could aptly be titled “The Year of Tom Ford.” The designer’s influence was felt on the red carpet long before Jay Z decided to rap about it. Ford seemed to dress everyone this year—from Bradley Cooper to Brad Pitt to Hova himself—he even outfitted Justin Timberlake‘s entire 20/20 Experience World Tour. Ford is a walking advertisement for his preferred style of tailoring—knife-edged, lean-waisted, sharp-lapelled. Each time someone looked his best in 2013, he was channeling Ford’s vision, and it was clear that the statement our favorite male stars were making was: “I rock Tom Ford.”
Happy 50th Birthday, Brad Pitt! It’s hard to believe that we’ve been mooning over the A-list hunk for over two decades. From charming Julia Roberts in 1991’s Thelma & Louise, to saving the world from zombies in this summer’s blockbuster World War Z, Pitt has long been one of our favorite golden boys of the silver screen.
What’s next for the birthday boy? He’s currently filming Fury (due out November 2014), a World War II drama where he plays “Wardaddy” opposite Shia LaBeouf, Jason Isaacs, and Scott Eastwood. You can see Pitt in theaters now appearing in the critically acclaimed 12 Years a Slave.
On the home front, we’re hoping wedding bells are in his future! Pitt has six children with his fiancée, Oscar-winner and humanitarian Angelia Jolie. When asked about a trip down the aisle, he told reporters last year that, “It’s soon. I got a good feeling about it.” The Jolie-Pitt wedding would surely be the event of the year—it would have to be in order to live up to the wow-worthy 10 carat diamond ring Pitt gave his bride to be!
Celebrate the heartthrob’s birthday by popping open a bottle of Pitt-Jolie created Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval (recently named the best rosé in the world) and browsing through his transformation gallery.
When Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the men behind the original Superman, first created Clark Kent and his alter ego in the early 1930s, Kent was nothing more than a geek in glasses. But recently, Kent’s trademark look has been getting some respect, with hunky stars like Justin Timberlake, Usher, Johnny Depp, Josh Duhamel, and more taking a break from their usual super man looks to don the retro eyewear, sparking a craze that we have yet to see the end of. So in honor of the latest Superman film, Man of Steel (starring Amy Adams and Henry Cavill, in theaters today) have a glance at some hunky stars in glasses, proving—like Kent himself—you should never judge a book by its cover.

This week marked Angelina Jolie’s first public appearances since she revealed she had a preventative double mastectomy—and what a return she made. All eyes were on her as she stood by fiancé Brad Pitt’s side for the world premieres of his new apocalyptic film World War Z, and she looked lovely in her go-to neutral hues, black and white. ”She keeps things simple and elegant,” her stylist Jennifer Rade once told InStyle. Although she wore a black Saint Laurent gown, black Saint Laurent suit, and white peplum Ralph & Russo dress, added Rade, “she doesn’t know about labels and doesn’t care.” So here’s to welcoming back Angelina to the red carpet—this week proved why we love her style so much. To raise awareness for men’s health issues, guys around the country participated in “Movember”—a month-long event where men ditched their razors to grow dapper mustaches like Brad Pitt and Parks and Recreation’s Nick Offerman. Now that November is over, we put together a list of the best men’s grooming products to tame that 30 day-old ‘stache. Whether your guy wants to channel his inner Ron Swanson or go for a clean shave, we have you covered! Click through to see our picks now.
Can you hear the wedding bells? The Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt wedding may soon be upon us, according to the groom-to-be. ”The time is nigh,” he told reporters at the premiere of his new crime drama Killing Them Softly in New York last night. “It’s soon. I got a good feeling about it.” We’ve been wondering when the Jolie-Pitt wedding would be ever since the bride-to-be stepped out wearing a $1 million, 10-carat diamond stunner in April. The couple have been together for seven years and have six children together. Perhaps this means a winter wedding is on the horizon?

We all know (and love!) Brad Pitt as a doting father, actor, and, most recently Chanel No. 5 spokesman. Now we can add furniture designer to his long list of accomplishments. This career move is not as out of the ordinary as you may think, Pitt has always harbored a love for architecture and design. “I’ve been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s, when I first discovered [Charles Rennie] Mackintosh and Frank Lloyd Wright,” Pitt told Architectural Digest. The collaboration with Frank Pollaro, an art-deco furniture designer based in New Jersey, will feature 12 pieces including tables, chairs, and even a bed! The collection will be unveiled at a private exhibition (November 13–15) in the art gallery-centric Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. For more information, be sure to visit pitt-pollaro.com.
