Christina Ricci: ‘Brad Goreski Made Me Feel Like Marilyn Monroe’

Christina Ricci has been dabbling in the Old Hollywood glamorous look recently, thanks to her stylist, It’s a Brad, Brad World star Brad Goreski. “The last thing he picked out for me that I really loved was a Jenny Packham dress,” Ricci told InStyle.com at Maiyet’s launch party, held at Barney’s New York. “I felt like Marilyn Monroe. It was very screen siren.” When it came time to accessorize, Goreski insisted on upping the sparkle even more, even though she wanted to stick to her low-key basics. “He was like ‘No, you can’t, honey. You’re going to have to wear some white gold and maybe some diamonds.’” Now that is a Marilyn attitude!

Jessica Alba is a walking rainbow, and it’s all thanks to her stylist, It’s a Brad, Brad World star Brad Goreski. “I’ve never worn this much color before in my life,” she confessed to InStyle.com at the Third Annual DVF Awards last weekend. “He’s done an amazing job.” And it’s true—instead of black, white, and other neutrals, she’s worn a bright green, aqua, tangerine, teal, and red this year, all of which fit perfectly into spring’s eye-popping color trend. “It’s always really easy and fun,” she said of working with the stylist, who was just named one of Hollywood’s most influential by The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m not a fussy person, and he knows that. I’m pretty specific with what I like, and we pretty much are on the same page about everything. It’s not hard to work with him at all. I’m usually like, ‘Yeah, OK, you’re right, I’ll wear that.’” Way to go, Brad!

It’s a Brad, Brad World: Preview Tonight’s Episode!

On tonight’s episode of It’s a Brad, Brad World, Brad Goreski offers up another slice of his celebrity styling realm. Not only will he help Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell avoid the Worst Dressed List—“there’s a fine line between tasteful and tasteless,” he says—he’ll also pop by the New York InStyle offices to meet with managing editor Ariel Foxman about contributing to the issue. “Working with Ariel is always great,” Goreski told us during New York Fashion Week. “He’s just so funny and so smart and charming.
