Who runs the world? Girls! Chime for Change’s The Sound of Change Live concert in London aired last night, and in addition to the showstopping performances by Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Mary J. Blige, the event also raised a cool $4.3 million in ticket sales. The proceeds will benefit 200 of Chime for Change’s projects to advance the lives of women and girls in over 70 countries, and host Gucci even allowed attendees to donate the value of their ticket to non-profit organizations of their choice. Salma Hayek, Gucci’s Frida Giannini, Zoe Saldana, and Blake Lively also attended, and were treated to a surprise duet performed by Bey and Jay-Z. Change never sounded so sweet! Click to take an inside look at the event, and head over to chimeforchange.org to see how you can support the cause.

Compare This! Blake Lively’s Burgundy Marios Schwab Dress, From Runway to Reality

Mar 11, 2013 @ 10:33 am

Blake Lively supported husband Ryan Reynolds at the New York premiere of his new animated film The Croods yesterday wearing a burgundy dress by British designer Marios Schwab, a fresh piece that just debuted during the Fall 2013 London Fashion Week just a few weeks ago. We love how Mrs. Reynolds made the fall mini appear more spring by switching out the cage sandals for white pumps, which gave the white of the hemline an extra pop as well. This look fits right in line with what Schwab envisioned for women who wear his designs: “The Marios Schwab girl is mystical and she likes enjoying fashion, but she also likes something that is not overshadowing her character and personality,” he had told InStyle.com. That’s so Blake.

Plus, see the other stars who love to wear Marios Schwab.
