When you think “natural beauty,” a few actresses come to mind–Katie Holmes included. She was at the top of the list for Bobbi Brown: the company has named Holmes the new face of the brand. The star is the very first celebrity ambassador, and between her understated, elegant beauty looks and Brown’s timeless palettes, we’d call it a perfect match! Holmes’s ad campaign will be unveiled next spring, and she will also appear on the in-store visuals for the products. ”This is my first foray into beauty products,” the actress told WWD. “I think it’s amazing that Bobbi found a hole in the marketplace and said ‘I’m going to do something about it. I’m going to create a line for real women who want to look pretty and have it easy.‘” The actress has previously starred in campaigns for LOFT and H.Stern jewelry. If she wasn’t busy enough taking on the role as Bobbi Brown’s leading lady and showing her Holmes & Yang collection at New York Fashion Week in the next few days, she also plans to launch a capsule collection of color cosmetics for the brand in fall 2013. We can’t wait!

Bobbi Brown just released a Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired collection, a lineup that will satisfy inner goddesses everywhere with its assortment of smoky gray shades. The limited-edition “Come Hither” selection includes sexy eye shadows in dark shimmering hues, a long-wear cream shadow, and gel liner. The fragrance market is full of only Eau de SPF! Bobbi Brown just released an updated version of her signature Beach fragrance as part of her new Miami collection ($68; bobbibrown.com), which features an unexpected sunscreen top note. And she’s not the only one: At the Beach 1966 by CB I Hate Perfume is a Coppertone-inspired scent with hints of wet sand and driftwood ($80; cbihateperfume.com). The brand just launched its Bobbi Brings Back campaign on Facebook today, which means you can vote for discontinued products you’d like to see return on shelves. “It’s important to me that I’m always listening to my fans,” Brown said in a release. “This is an opportunity for me to show my Facebook followers that I appreciate all of their support and thank them.” First up: Lip colors. To vote, “Like” Bobbi Brown’s Facebook page, and pick one of the 10 most-requested shades. Voting closes February 29th, and the winning hue will be available exclusively for Brown’s Facebook fans to purchase. In the future, the Bobbi Brings Back campaign will include eye shadows, blushes, and more.
