Congratulations, Frida Giannini! The Gucci Designer Just Had a Baby

Gucci‘s Creative Director, Frida Giannini, and the Italian fashion house’s CEO, Patrizio di Marco, welcomed a daughter on Saturday! Named Greta, she is the couple’s first child—and born just a week after Giannini premiered Gucci’s fall 2013 collection at Milan Fashion Week, too. “Auguri to our very own Frida Giannini & Patrizio di Marco on the birth of their baby girl, Greta. Both mother and child are doing well,” Gucci Tweeted this afternoon. Auguri, indeed—Greta is sure to be one fashionable young lady!

Celebrity Baby News: Fergie and Maya Rudolph Expecting

More celebrity babies are on the way! Maya Rudolph will be Up All Night soon, as she is expecting her fourth child with writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson, THR reports. The same goes for Fergie and Josh Duhamel, who announced they have a baby on board through social media. “Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump,” Fergie Tweeted along with a photo of herself and Josh as children. And the proud father-to-be posted a similar message on Facebook. Congratulations to the expectant couples!

It’s a Hollywood baby boom! Penelope Cruz, after months of speculation, has finally confirmed to the Associated Press that she is expecting her second child with husband Javier Bardem, Jamie-Lynn Sigler is not only just-engaged to baseball player Cutter Dykstra, she’s also pregnant, and 30 Rock funnyman Alec Baldwin is celebrating the pregnancy of his new wife Hilaria Thomas Baldwin, which the couple announced on Extra. “Well, there was a scream in the house normally reserved for a spider,” Baldwin joked. “You can make as many jokes as you want, but it really is the most amazing thing.” Congrats to the happy couples!

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Baby Will Inherit How Much?

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby isn’t expected to arrive for another few months, but the future prince or princess is already set to inherit quite the fortune. According to a royal decree dating back to the 14th century, their child’s inheritance will include land and estates that are today worth approximately £348 million pounds or $550 million dollars, Bloomberg reports. The future monarch will also receive all of this tax-free! Nevertheless, he or she will still have to work for the deeds, as it will be their job to oversee the estates, attend to royal duties, and, obviously, be all-around fabulous.

DVF for Gap Returns! New Collection in Stores April 2013

After launching a successful collaboration with GapKids and babyGap last May, Diane von Furstenberg is coming back for round two—her second collection for the retailer will land in stores and online this April. ”I really loved the challenge of translating my designs into the first DVF for Gap collection,” the designer said in a statement. “It was so much fun to see little girls wearing the pieces, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with Gap on this second collection.” With her first installment brimming with punchy graphics, adorable wrap dresses, and playful blazers all for under $120 (see the photos to the right!), we can’t wait to see what she has in store the second time around!

Michael Bublé and his wife, Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, are expecting their first child together! The couple posted an adorable bi-lingual video announcing that Lopilato is pregnant with a “mini Bublé,” including sonogram shots of the little in-progress bundle of joy. The couple have been married since March 2011. Congrats to the parents-to-be!

Shakira Welcomes Son, Milan Piqué Mebarak!

After announcing her pregnancy in September, Colombian singer Shakira has given birth! She and her husband, FC Barcelona soccer star Gerard Piqué, welcomed son Milan Piqué Mebarak last night in Barcelona. In a statement, the couple’s rep revealed that the name Milan means “dear, loving, and gracious” in Slavic. The newest addition to their family has another accolade to his day-old name: following in the footsteps of his father, he became a member of FC Barcelona at the moment of his birth. Congrats to the happy new parents!

Sarah Burton, Dresser of Mom-To-Be Kate Middleton, Is Pregnant!

Sarah Burton is pregnant with twins! The creative director of Alexander McQueen—and the woman mainly responsible for dressing a pregnant Kate Middleton in all those looks—has announced that she is expecting. She will take maternity leave from her post, meaning that the iconic British brand will skip its upcoming Autumn/Winter 2013 show during Paris Fashion Week, which takes place in March. No word yet on just when Burton’s expected due date is, but we’re hoping it’s somewhere around July!
