She recently confirmed to Showbiz 411 that she’s been on the set of James Cameron’s three Avatar sequels, which she revealed are all shooting simultaneously. As for sci-fi fans who are curious to know when a new Avatar will hit theaters, Weaver makes no promises. “I just show up,” she said. Sounds like it might be a while! Still, we’re happy to wait to see Weaver—and her co-stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana—back in blue paint.

Get ready for Golden Popcorns! MTV Movie Awards nominees were announced with The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Avatar trailing closely behind The Hangover for most nominations. New Moon‘s five nods include Best Movie and Best Female and Male Performances for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who also get the chance to repeat last year’s victory for Best Kiss. The vampire flick has some stiff competition from Avatar—its five nominations include an acting nod for Zoe Saldana, Best Kiss, Best Fight and Best Movie. The star-studded show, hosted this year by Parks and Recreation star Aziz Anzari, will feature a performance by Christina Aguilera and appearances by Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
