Found It! Elizabeth Olsen’s Cute Coat

Oct 22, 2011 @ 4:00 pm

Even with her twin sisters giving her clothes galore, Martha Marcy May Marlene star Elizabeth Olsen doesn’t always wear their labels The Row or Elizabeth & James (or even designer for that matter)! This week, she made the talk-show rounds in New York City bundled up in a chic quilted coat from ASOS. Get her It Girl style for $126 at asos.com.

Found It! Lea Michele’s Sexy Minidress

Oct 5, 2011 @ 11:25 am

Lea Michele likes to take fashion into her own hands. Before, the style rule-breaker confessed she was once told to never wear black, and she didn’t listen (thankfully!). Her latest trick? Wearing an ASOS lace tunic top as a leg-baring ultra-mini. Clearly, this style switch-up works best for the petite (the Glee star is 5’3″), though taller fashionistas can get an equally chic (if less daring) look by adding a pair of skinny jeans. Pick up the piece for $53 at asos.com

The shirt, which featured a bold Kitenge print from Tanzania, was hand-woven in Mombasa, Kenya, bringing much-needed employment to the area. The style savvy First Lady added tailored separates to the oversize piece, which can be purchased for $60.34 on Asos.com.

Asos recently launched a U.S. site and the good news just keeps on comin’! The now stateside shopping destination has unveiled their ASOS Africa winter line and it’s gorgeous. Sophisticated neutrals, unique patterns and affordable prices—and it doesn’t stop there. According to the company, “ASOS Africa is produced in collaboration with Soko and several small communities in Africa, enabling underprivileged communities to establish sustainable businesses through their local craftsmanship.”  The collection of 15 styles launches October 21st (though you can browse some items now) and uses exclusively designed fabrics and traditional African materials.
